Reduce stress, improve focus, and find inner silence through guided breathwork and meditation. We practice together to calm the nervous system and build mental clarity.

A key part of yoga is learning to sit back and observe without reacting. Here, I am guiding my students through a pranayama session, teaching them to find stillness and calm in the present moment.

A Nobel Prize study found that increasing oxygen in the body can prevent disease. Pranayama, or breathwork, is a powerful way to boost oxygen production, which is why we dedicate time to it in every class.

Anulom Vilom, or alternate nostril breathing, is a powerful pranayama for asthma patients. Regular practice can improve lung function, boost the respiratory system, and reduce stress.

There comes a time in life when you seek only peace. Yoga and pranayama help bring peace to the mind, reducing negative thoughts and fostering a positive outlook.

Yogasadhana means "spiritual practice." It is a journey of connecting the body, mind, and spirit, and pranayama is a vital tool on this path to inner union.

Bhramari Pranayama, or the Humming Bee Breath, is a simple yet powerful technique for mental wellness. It helps calm the mind and can provide relief from anxiety, stress, insomnia, and high blood pressure.

Nadi Shodhan Pranayama is another form of alternate nostril breathing that is excellent for creating a stable mind. It also helps build a more efficient and resilient respiratory system.

Sheetali and Sheetkari are cooling pranayamas, perfect for the summer months. These breathing techniques help to cool the body from the inside out, providing a sense of calm and refreshment.

Adi Mudra is a simple hand gesture with profound benefits. It can increase oxygen flow, improve lung capacity, calm the nervous system, and enhance concentration and self awareness.

Hakini Mudra is a powerful tool to control overthinking. By bringing the fingertips together, you connect the right and left hemispheres of the brain, promoting coordination and mental clarity.

About Calm Your Mind: Breathwork & Meditation

It isn’t about sitting perfectly still for an hour, because that isn’t real life. In these sessions, we focus on specific mudras and simple breathing patterns—like Bhramari or Nadi Shodhan—that you can actually use when you are overwhelmed at work or struggling to sleep. I keep the focus on alignment and comfort, using props if you need them, so you can fully let go without physical strain.

Yoga is not just movement; it is the union of body, mind, and spirit. When your mind is cluttered, your body reflects that in tightness and fatigue. My sessions go beyond physical postures to focus on your nervous system.

We incorporate ancient techniques like Bhramari (Humming Bee Breath) to lower stress and blood pressure, and Nadi Shodhan for mental stability. You will also learn specific mudras like Hakini, which is incredibly effective for managing overthinking and improving brain coordination.

We do not rush. We practice in a supportive, fan-cooled space in Andheri West, using props to ensure you are comfortable, not fighting your own body. Whether you are battling insomnia, high blood pressure, or just the daily noise of city life, these practices provide a tangible toolset. We look at the science too—how increasing oxygen levels through pranayama impacts your respiratory health.

Consistency is the only secret. You will not fix everything in one session, but you will feel the difference in your breath within the first few minutes. If you are ready to stop reacting to every thought and learn to observe instead, come join us.
