I was honored to be part of this expert panel discussion on managing PCOS through lifestyle modification. Sharing the stage with doctors and nutrition experts to help women is a cause very close to my heart.

When we talk about lifestyle management—whether it is PCOS, thyroid, or diabetes—the mat is only half the solution. I believe in giving you the full picture. That is why I curate these sessions to include 45-minute talks from medical experts like gynecologists and nutritionists, followed by targeted yoga modifications. You get to ask your questions directly to the doctors and learn exactly how your breath and asanas can support your specific health goals.

Bridging Medical Insight with Daily Practice

Yoga Bimba isn’t just about a morning stretch. These wellness workshops are built to bridge the gap between medical guidance and daily practice. We focus on 'lifestyle modification'—a term you hear often, but we help you actually live it. Whether you are dealing with PCOS, hypertension, or stress-related hormonal imbalances, we break down the 'why' before we get into the 'how'.

What Happens at These Sessions?

  • Expert Perspectives: We host doctors and wellness professionals who explain the physiological factors behind lifestyle diseases. You aren't just listening; you are interacting with pros like gynecologists, dentists, and nutritionists.
  • Therapeutic Asana: After the talk, we move into a 60-minute yoga flow designed specifically for the condition we are discussing. This includes modifications for poses, breathwork (Pranayama) to calm the nervous system, and guidance on how to use props like bolsters and blocks safely.
  • Community Support: You are in a room with others who are going through similar journeys. Sharing these experiences, asking questions in an open forum, and realizing you aren't alone is often the most healing part of the day.

Why We Prioritize Knowledge

My guru Sri Bharath Shetty taught us that yoga is a lifelong practice, or Abyasa. But for that practice to bring Arogya (health) and Ananda (bliss), you need to be informed. Our sessions provide physical or digital handouts covering the Five Pillars of a Healthy Lifestyle so you have a roadmap to follow even after you leave our Nagarbhavi studio. It’s practical, honest, and designed to help you make small, sustainable changes that actually last.
