Our Community in Action
Yoga is about more than just the mat. From charity marathon runs to outdoor sunrise celebrations, this is where our tribe comes together to grow, give back, and share joy.
The yogis of Yoga Bimba doing our bit of Karma Yoga. Three generations of one family ran together in a marathon organized by Rotary to raise funds for paediatric surgeries.
On the auspicious day of Guru Purnima, I express my gratitude to my Guru, who leads us on the path of knowledge. A Guru is one who not only preaches but practices.
"Sthira Sukham Asanam." This sutra from Patanjali reminds us that a posture should be a balance of stability and ease. This is a core principle in our practice.
About this collection
We believe yoga extends well beyond the studio walls. You will often find our tribe outdoors, whether we are running marathons for a cause, trekking up hills for sunrise flows, or gathering to honor our traditions. These moments are where the real connection happens—sharing Ananda (bliss) through collective action rather than just individual poses.
Building Our Tribe
At Yoga Bimba, we do not just practice Hatha Yoga in isolation. We have built a community where practitioners of all ages, from kids to those over 50, feel supported. When we step out of the studio—whether for a marathon run organized by Rotary for pediatric surgeries or a quiet hill trek—we are practicing Karma Yoga. This means offering our effort and time to help others and connect with the world around us.
Why Community Yoga Matters
Yoga is often perceived as a solo practice, but sharing the energy of a group changes everything. When we practice 108 Surya Namaskaras together on Ratha Saptami or celebrate our anniversary, the collective motivation pushes us further than we might go on our own. These gatherings are not just about health; they are about fostering relationships.

Yoga Bimba
We started Yoga Bimba in a tiny shala back in 2013 with just three people. Today, we have grown into a vibrant tribe that practices together, runs together, and celebrates life through the lens of yoga.
