In-Person Group Yoga Classes in Bengaluru
Join our community sessions across Bengaluru where we practice mindful movement and breathwork. Whether you are starting out or looking to refine your form, my group classes offer a supportive space for your practice.
Here I am guiding a student through Trikonasana, or Triangle Pose, during a corporate wellness session. I focus on proper alignment to ensure you get the full benefits of each posture safely. These classes are a great way to build strength and flexibility.
This montage captures the energy of a corporate yoga session I led at Yenepoya University. We moved through a series of asanas and breathing exercises designed to de-stress and rejuvenate, showing how yoga can be integrated into any workplace for improved well-being.
A moment of calm as students practice Anulom Vilom, or alternate nostril breathing. This pranayama technique is a core part of my classes, helping to balance the mind, improve focus, and prepare the body for deeper practice.
A look at the diverse settings where we practice together, from peaceful outdoor sessions under the trees to focused indoor classes. This montage celebrates the 10th International Day of Yoga and the wonderful communities I have the honor of guiding.
About In-Person Group Classes
In these sessions, we focus on the alignment that is often missed in self-practice. I provide tactile adjustments to help you move safely into poses, ensuring you are not just stretching, but engaging the right muscles. Whether we are in a studio or a community hall, these small group settings allow me to watch your form closely and suggest specific modifications—like using blocks or belts—so you can practice without strain.
What to Expect in My Group Classes
My in-person group classes in Bengaluru are designed to be a sanctuary for your mind and body. Each 60-minute session is carefully structured to move beyond physical exercise. We begin with intention setting (Sankalpa) and mindful breathing, move through a flow of Hatha or Ashtanga asanas, and always conclude with deep relaxation and gratitude.
Why In-Person Practice Matters
There is a unique energy when we practice together. Being in the same room allows for physical, tactile adjustments that help you understand the nuances of a posture. If your shoulders are hunched or your spine is misaligned, I can guide you into a safer position instantly. We use props like blocks and belts, not as shortcuts, but as tools to help everyone—regardless of experience—get the most out of every movement.
Who This Is For
I welcome students of all levels. My classes are structured to accommodate beginners and those with more experience. If you are dealing with specific issues like back pain or are interested in women's health and hormonal balance, I often incorporate thematic sessions to address these needs.
Logistics and Details
We meet three days a week, totaling 12 sessions per month. Classes take place in well-ventilated studios and community spaces across Bengaluru, including my primary space at Prestige Kew Gardens, Bellandur. Bring your own mat, and I provide the shared props to ensure you have the support you need. My group size is capped at 15 to ensure everyone gets the attention they deserve.
