Group Combat Cardio & Functional Training
Training Format
- Batch Size: High-volume groups (15 to 30 participants) led by a single instructor.
- Cardio: Includes outdoor street running for warm-ups and high-repetition jump rope sessions.
Workout Components
- Functional Strength: Uses tractor tires, sledgehammers, and industrial pull-up bars for raw strength conditioning.
- Combat Drills: Focuses on shadow boxing, endurance rounds on heavy bags, and reflex partner drills.
Facility Specs
- Environment: Non-AC, naturally ventilated 3rd-floor hall with fans.
- Flooring: Standard EVA puzzle mats for joint impact reduction.
- Gear Access: Communal heavy bags, kicking shields, and skipping ropes provided.
Guidelines
- Rules: Strict adherence to a no smoking and no alcohol lifestyle is enforced by the coaches.
1-on-1 Personal Training
Coaching Structure
- Attention: Dedicated 60-minute slots with a senior trainer (12 sessions per month).
- Scheduling: Flexible timing options including off-peak hours, unlike fixed group batch schedules.
Advanced Training
- Pad Work: Trainer holds focus mitts or Thai pads for active resistance striking and immediate correction.
- Conditioning: Custom circuits using medicine balls and complex drills suited for individual ability.
- Priority Access: First usage rights for equipment like the ring and specific heavy bags during sessions.
Nutrition & Accountability
- Diet Plan: Guidance based on fighter weight-cutting principles (high protein, hydration focus).
- Monitoring: Daily check-ins to ensure diet adherence and training consistency.

Not Your Usual Fitness Routine
I don’t do ordinary. Here, you’re not just burning calories, you’re training like a fighter - but you don’t need to get into a ring. I use high intensity martial arts workouts that I use with my own champion trainees, but you don’t need any experience. Just the will to show up and push yourself.
How We Train
We mix combat sports fitness training with old-school strength moves. Expect:
- Bodyweight and wrestling drills, tires, pull-ups - all for functional strength
- Pad work, bag work, and partner drills from Muay Thai, Kickboxing, Boxing
- Mobility and real-life stamina building work so you move better and last longer
You’ll sweat, you’ll probably curse me a bit, but you’ll see results. Everyone calls me Anna (‘big brother’), because we’re like family here. We cheer, laugh, sometimes compete - but we never let each other quit.

Anyone who wants to ditch boring gyms and actually get strong. Men, women, kids - all fitness levels. If you want discipline, not just weight loss, you’ll fit right in.

My Story
People call me Coach or Kru, but Anna is what I cherish most. Thunder Martial Arts in Vidyaranyapura feels more like home than a gym. We’re all sweat, heart, and Kannada pride here. Never give up – that’s my mantra. Medals? Yeah, we’ve got plenty, from Rajyotsava Cup to WAKO tournaments. But honestly, watching someone’s confidence bloom, seeing their hand raised after a tough fight, that’s the real win. Kannadave Satya, Kannadave Nitya. We fight with that spirit.
