About Homestyle Gujarati & Regional Thalis
My thalis are not just about mimicking the classics; they are about recreating that deep, satisfying feeling of a home-cooked meal without the dairy or refined ingredients. When you order, I ensure every element—from the Bajra roti with my signature vegan ghee to the dahi tikhari made with soy-cashew curd—is balanced for taste and nutrition, meaning you get the indulgence of a festival feast without the post-meal heaviness.
Food That Feels Like Home
For me, cooking is an emotion. My Gujarati and regional thalis are designed to bring back the memories of family gatherings, but with a modern, compassionate twist. I believe you shouldn't have to choose between your health, your ethics, and the traditional flavours you grew up with.
What Goes Into Your Thali
When I prepare a thali, it is a complete, nourishing experience. I focus on seasonal vegetables, millets like Bajra and Jowar, and wholesome lentils.
- The Vegan Hacks: I don't use store-bought substitutes. My 'vegan ghee' and 'dahi' are house-made using bilona techniques and bases like soy and cashew to ensure the flavour and texture are spot on.
- Customization: Whether you need a specific Rajasthani Khoba Roti or want your meal to be strictly Jain-friendly, oil-free, or gluten-free, I make it happen. You tell me your requirements, and I adjust the menu.
- Freshly Prepared: Everything is cooked fresh in my Gurgaon kitchen. From the tempering on the dahi tikhari to the dusting of pomegranate on my bite-sized Nylon Khaman, care is taken in every detail.
Perfect for Your Next Event
These thalis are ideal for small family get-togethers or larger corporate lunches where you want to offer something thoughtful and inclusive.
Commonly requested additions include:
- Welcome drinks like dairy-free Thandai or Aam Panna.
- Regional snacks such as baked Samosas or Millet Muthia.
- Traditional desserts like sugar-free Moong Dal Halwa or Soy-based Shrikhand.
If you are planning an event in Delhi NCR, let's talk about a menu that brings people together without anyone having to compromise.
