Guilt-Free Indian Sweets & Desserts
Traditional sweets reimagined without the guilt. I craft every dessert from scratch using natural sweeteners, organic produce, and my own homemade vegan ghee.
Vegan boondi prepared as prasad for Hanuman Jayanti. These sweet pearls are made entirely plant-based and offered with devotion.
Rose-crusted apple date cinnamon laddoos. These healthy desserts are sweetened only with dates and have no added sugar, oil, or dairy.
A royal purple dessert made from a blend of wild rice and black carrots. This unique kheer is as beautiful as it is delicious.
A creamy and delicious plant-based dessert, possibly a vegan shrikhand, topped with nuts, raisins, and a sweet syrup.
About this collection
You are probably wondering if a moong dal halwa or traditional Shrikhand can actually taste right without dairy ghee or refined sugar. The secret is in the 'veganghee' I make myself, using a traditional bilona technique to keep that deep, nutty flavour without any cholesterol. When you order these, you get all the comfort of the classics you grew up with, just without the refined additives that usually make you feel heavy afterward.
Tradition Without Compromise
Food is an emotion for me. It is about the feeling of maakehaathkakhana—that comfort you find in familiar tastes. When I started the Vedic Kitchen, my mission was to prove that you do not need to give up your traditions to eat compassionately. Whether it is a batch of festive boondi or rose-crusted apple laddoos, my sweets are a bridge between old-school flavours and modern, mindful living.
What Goes Into My Sweets
Every sweet in my kitchen follows a strict philosophy:
- No Refined Stuff: You will never find white sugar, refined flour, or hydrogenated oils in my pantry. I use organic jaggery, dates, and fresh fruit to provide sweetness.
- The Vegan-Ghee Advantage: I prepare my own plant-based ghee from scratch. It provides the richness and aroma required for traditional Indian desserts like halwas and laddoos without using any dairy.
- Customised for You: Dietary restrictions should never stop a celebration. I regularly handle orders that are gluten-free, oil-free, or Jain-friendly (no onion or garlic). Just tell me what your guests need, and I will tailor the recipe.
Freshly Crafted in Gurgaon
I deliver across Delhi NCR, ensuring that your desserts arrive fresh. These are not mass-produced, factory-made sweets. They are kitchen-crafted with the same care I would put into cooking for my own family. If you have an upcoming festival or a family get-together, let’s discuss a menu that brings the joy of traditional Indian sweets to the table for everyone, regardless of their diet.
The Vedic Kitchen
I am Preeti Kapasi, a vegan enabler who believes you should never have to sacrifice taste for health. I recreate the sweets of my childhood in my Gurgaon kitchen, proving that traditional Indian desserts can be completely dairy-free, refined sugar-free, and still feel like a hug on a plate.
