Hearty Vegetarian Main Courses for Your Party
Classic Punjabi flavours and wholesome comfort food, cooked fresh in my kitchen with pure desi ghee for your small celebrations.
My Awadhi Kathal Biryani is a dish full of flavour. I cook tender jackfruit with fragrant basmati rice and a special blend of spices. It’s a wonderful vegetarian main course for any celebration.
Pao Bhaji is always a party favorite. I make a rich bhaji with lots of fresh vegetables, cooked in butter and spices, served with soft buttered pao, chopped onions, and a squeeze of lime.
A close-up of my zero-oil Matra Kulcha, served with a side of spicy green chilli pickle. This is a classic street food dish from Delhi, made healthy without compromising on the authentic taste.
A full bowl of my homemade Matra, garnished with fresh tomatoes, onions, and coriander. It's a wholesome and tangy chickpea curry that is both light and satisfying.
Another look at the delicious pairing of my Matra curry and homemade green chilli pickle. This dish is perfect for a light lunch or as part of a larger catering menu.
Here is how I prepare my Bharwa Shimla Mirch. I stuff crisp capsicums with a flavourful spiced potato filling and pan-cook them until they are tender and the filling is golden brown.
This is my healthy take on Ghiya ke Kofte. I make the koftas from bottle gourd in an appe pan with very little oil, and then simmer them in a light, homemade tomato gravy.
About this collection
I believe that the best main courses take time. Whether it is my overnight-simmered Dal Makhani or the aromatic jackfruit biryani, nothing is rushed or mass-produced. When you order these mains, you get fresh, hot food made exclusively in pure Verka ghee, prepared to feed your family and friends the same quality I serve in my own home.
Making real, honest food means skipping shortcuts. When you look at my menu for get-togethers, you will not find frozen gravies or preservatives. Everything is prepared specifically for your party.
My Dal Makhani is the star of the show. It spends the night on a slow simmer to achieve that authentic, creamy texture without the need for excess cream. Then there is the Awadhi Kathal Biryani, where I slow-cook tender jackfruit with spices until every grain of basmati is infused with flavour.
I work directly with you to customise the spice levels and choices for your gathering. Need a mix of rich paneer dishes or something lighter like Ghiya ke Kofte? We can sit down and plan the menu. Whether it is an intimate anniversary lunch or an office get-together, my team and I deliver it fresh in spill-proof packaging, ready to serve.
