A glimpse into our Gurgaon kitchen where we reimagine traditional Indian and global flavours, one compassionate plate at a time.

This is my proudest creation: a completely dairy-free Janmashtami 56 Bhog. It’s a testament to my belief that we can honour our traditions with compassion, enjoying every flavour from Shrikhand to Jalebi without any animal suffering.

My gluten-free Millet Sunflower Bread, stuffed with spinach and my homemade vegan cheese. It's not just food; it's edible art that is both beautiful and nourishing, perfect as a centrepiece for any gathering.

The rich aroma of Moong Dal Halwa always says 'padharomharedes'. I make this festive classic completely vegan using my special homemade bilona-style vegan ghee, so you get the authentic taste without compromise.

A crowd favourite, my stuffed-crust vegan pizza. This one features a gluten-free base, juicy mushrooms, and sweet cherry tomatoes, all topped with my creamy, homemade plant-based cheese. It proves that pizza can be both indulgent and healthy.

A glimpse of a catering event I hosted, showcasing a variety of fresh, plant-based salads and appetizers. I design spreads that are visually appealing and cater to diverse palates, ensuring every guest feels included.

Who says street food can't be healthy? These are my millet-based, gluten-free Golgappe. They are perfectly crisp and ready to be filled with tangy, delicious pani, offering a guilt-free way to enjoy India's favourite snack.

My festive sweet boxes are a celebration of pure, plant-based ingredients. This box contains rich Anjeer Dry Fruit Barfi and classic Motichoor Laddoos, perfect for gifting during Diwali or any special occasion.

About this collection

When people hear 'vegan,' they often worry about missing out on the richness of traditional ghee or the comfort of a heavy gravy. In our kitchen, we solve this by making our own bilona-style vegan ghee and nut-based creams, so you get the same familiar flavours without any animal products. We focus on recreating the 'maakehaathkakhana' feeling, ensuring your guests don't feel like they're compromising on tradition.

We started The Vedic Kitchen after leaving the corporate world of banking and HR, driven by a simple idea: food should be an emotion, not just fuel. Every dish we prepare in our Gurgaon kitchen is a reflection of that belief. Whether it is our dairy-free 56 Bhog for Janmashtami or our gluten-free millet golgappe, we aim to bridge the gap between compassionate living and authentic, deep-rooted taste.

How We Approach Your Menu

We believe in cooking from scratch using organic ingredients. No refined flour, no refined sugar, and absolutely no chemicals. This is food that nourishes.

  • Festivals: We handle the full spread. From Onam Sadhya to Janmashtami feasts, we keep the traditions intact while swapping out dairy for healthier, plant-based alternatives.
  • Global Flavours: If you want something different, we bring in modern fusion—think millet-base pizzas with house-made vegan cheese or our popular beetroot sliders.
  • Dietary Needs: We are used to managing specific requests. Whether you need oil-free options, Jain-friendly meals (no onion/garlic), or strictly gluten-free catering, we adapt our recipes to keep everyone included.

We deliver across Delhi NCR and treat every event, small or large, with the same attention to detail we would use if we were cooking for our own family.

We turned our backs on banking and HR to feed people with heart. Our Gurgaon kitchen is a mini-Gujarat, obsessed with recreating the nostalgia of 'maakehaathkakhana'—just entirely plant-based and cruelty-free.
