Taste the real Northeast with our traditional thalis. From fragrant Joha rice to spicy smoked meats, every plate brings the flavours of home to your table.

A classic Axomia style chicken thali. It features fragrant Joha rice, our simple dal, mashed Aloo Pitika, and crispy Begun Bhaja, all centered around a hearty chicken curry.

This is our special Naga thali. It includes boiled vegetables, spicy chutney, and a main curry, often with distinct flavours like bamboo shoot, served with rice and papad.

About Our Famous Thalis

When you order a thali, you are getting a full spread of Joha rice, Aloo Pitika with real mustard oil, and authentic Jola Bota. We prepare our smoked meats the traditional way, and unlike places that use generic spices, we source our Raja Marcha and bamboo shoots directly from our motherland so you get the real punch. It is not just about filling your stomach, it is about experiencing the true balance of our regional cuisine.

Most places in Mumbai treat Northeast food as a side dish, but for us, the thali is the heart of the meal. We focus on 'barkat'—abundance—so you will never leave with an empty feeling. Whether you choose our Assamese, Naga, or Manipuri style, you are getting a complete, balanced meal that reflects how we actually eat back home.

What Goes on Your Plate

  • The Staples: Every thali starts with fluffy Joha rice or sticky rice, paired with our home-style dal and Aloo Pitika (mashed potatoes seasoned with mustard oil).
  • The Protein: You choose your main. We take our time with our smoked pork and chicken, ensuring the meat is tender and the flavour profile matches the region you ordered from.
  • The Authentic Touch: You will find side elements that make all the difference, like Begun Bhaja, Jola Bota, and seasonal vegetable stir-fries.
  • The Spices: We do not tone down the spice for the city palate. We use real King Chilli (Raja Marcha) and fermented soybean (Axone) because that is where the soul of the dish lives.

Our kitchen is right here in Andheri West. We designed this space to be a small escape from the Mumbai rush, with bamboo lamps and Jaapi hats to set the vibe.
