About The Vibe: Our Cozy Corner in Mumbai
When you walk in, you will see the Jaapi hats and bamboo decor that set the mood for your meal. It is a compact dining hall, which means on busy Saturday nights, it gets quite lively with our acoustic music sessions. If you prefer a quiet, relaxed dinner, I recommend planning your visit for a weekday evening instead.
My goal with this space was never to build a massive restaurant, but to create a hideaway. Located opposite the Jewel Shopping Centre in Andheri West, we are tucked away from the busy Mumbai streets. The idea is to make you feel like you are stepping into a friend’s living room back home. We have put up photos of the Northeast, traditional textiles, and used bamboo accents because these are the things that keep us connected to our roots. On weekends, the atmosphere shifts as we host intimate acoustic live music sessions. It turns into a space where conversations flow easily, and the music complements the spicy aromas of our smoked pork and thukpas. We keep the setup simple with wooden tables, comfortable seating, and enough room to feel private but also part of the energy. Whether you are coming in for a solo meal after work or catching up with friends, the place is designed to let you disconnect from the city hustle. If you are coming with a large group, just give me a heads-up so I can arrange the seating properly.
