Yoga is a personal journey, but you do not have to walk it alone. Discover the power of group practice in Rohini.
Sometimes my students joke that I break them into pieces, but it is only to rebuild them stronger. This is the tough love that leads to real transformation.
In this class, I am teaching the art of backbending. It is a beautiful practice for opening the chest and building a flexible, strong spine. You can see the focus and dedication of my students.
Warming up is crucial. It increases blood flow, gets oxygen to the muscles, and prepares the mind and body for the practice ahead. Here, my class moves together to prepare for our session.
Leading a large group session outdoors is a powerful experience. We move together, from Warrior Pose to Downward Dog, transforming our individual energy into a collective force.
There is a special unity in practicing advanced asanas together. My students demonstrate incredible strength, flexibility, and focus, showing the limitless potential that Shakti Yoga unlocks.
Here are my students performing a sequence of advanced asanas outdoors. From headstands to downward dog, their synchronized movement shows the discipline and strength they have cultivated.
On Independence Day, I asked my students what yoga gave them freedom from. Their answers, from stress and negativity to backache and laziness, are the real proof of this practice. Join us to find your own freedom.
About this collection
When you practice in a room full of people who are pushing themselves, your own limitations start to fade. In our community batches, both in the studio and out in the park, we do not just hold poses; we hold space for each other. You will find that when your mind wants to quit—jab mann atak jaaye—the person next to you is the reason you decide to hold for ten more seconds. It is this shared energy that makes the tapas (effort) bearable and the transformation inevitable.
Two Worlds of Practice
Our community sessions flow between two distinct environments. In the studio at Prashant Vihar, we focus on discipline and alignment. Here, the props like bamboo sticks and wall ropes are your best friends, helping you safely deepen your asanas under my direct supervision. The studio is where we build the foundation, focusing on precision, spinal alignment, and the quiet intensity of Hatha and Vinyasa flow.
Then, we take that energy outdoors. Our park sessions are where we reconnect with Prakriti. There is a different kind of freedom when you practice under the open sky. We move together as one, from Warrior Pose to Downward Dog, transforming individual energy into a collective force. It is not just about perfect poses here. It is about the shared breath, the collective effort, and the sense of unity that comes from training alongside peers who are on the same journey of self-realization.

Jas Pal
I see yoga as a collective dance—sometimes intense, sometimes calm. At Shakti Yoga, we move together, sweat together, and find our strength in each other’s presence. I am here to help you turn that collective energy into your own personal power.
