Why I Teach Therapeutic Yoga
I see yoga as a way to find real freedom, not just another workout. It's for anyone who wants to break free from pain or stress and heal naturally. Prakriti ke paas aaiye (Come to nature) and let your mind and body connect.
Not Fancy, Just Smart Yoga
I don't do yoga that looks good on Instagram but leaves you feeling sore. My approach is simple: jab body mana kare, props madad karte hain (when your body says no, props help). Chairs, blocks, belts – these tools make yoga possible for everyone, even if you’re stiff, injured, or just starting out. It's yoga for your body, not for some textbook pose.
What We Work On
- Yoga for chronic pain relief: Back, knee, cervical issues – I use gentle flows, sometimes chair yoga for seniors or anyone who sits all day. Solid results with thoda mehnat (a little effort).
- Pranayama for anxiety: When stress or overthinking hits, breathwork like Bhramari Pranayama calms your mind and helps you sleep.
- Lifestyle support: High BP, thyroid – we use specific yoga and breathing techniques to manage these the natural way.
How Sessions Go
Props are part of the practice, not a shortcut. We use chairs for support, blocks and belts for alignment, and wall ropes to help decompress your spine. Whether online or in-person, I guide you to find your own shakti (power).

My Story
Namaste from Shakti Yoga Studio. Life for me is all about Shakti - that energy in everything. You’ll catch me dancing, painting, singing with friends, sometimes humming Kailash Kher, sometimes just lying on the grass, prakriti ki god mein (in the lap of nature). Yoga isn’t just stretching - it’s connecting with your own story, like Natarajasana’s dance or Virabhadra’s strength. I try to bring that feeling to my classes, so you feel the Shakti inside you too.
My Work
Classes & Services - We offer online yoga, studio sessions, Hatha Yoga, meditation, medical yoga for thyroid and other issues, pranayama, weight loss, and kids yoga batches.
Yoga for Everyday Problems - Back pain, stress, high BP, sleeplessness - we use rambaan ilaaj (panacea) yogic techniques for real relief.
Smart Yoga for All Bodies - Har body har asan ke liye ready nahi hoti (not every body suits every pose). We use props for safe, smart yoga, no jor, no chot, sirf sahi technique (no force, no injury, only correct technique).
More Than Asanas - We go beyond poses: pranayama, meditation, myth-inspired yoga, and community retreats for tan, mann, aur atma (body, mind, soul).
