My Personal Yoga Practice and Daily Routine
Yoga is more than just a workout for me. It is the lifeline that helped me go from fat to fit, and the foundation of everything I teach in my studio.
This is my world. A personal, dynamic flow where I surrender completely to the practice. This deep connection to yoga is what I strive to share with all my students, helping them find their own path.
A short montage of some of my favorite asanas that challenge my flexibility and strength. A consistent personal practice is the foundation of my teaching, allowing me to guide you from my own experience.
Practicing Dhanurasana, or Bow Pose, in a quiet moment. This pose is excellent for strengthening the back, improving posture, and opening the entire front of the body. It is a powerful heart opener.
About My Personal Practice
My daily practice is not about acrobatics or looking perfect. It is about 'union'—connecting the mind and body through correct alignment and steady breath. Whether I am flowing through a Vinyasa sequence or holding a deep stretch like Dhanurasana, I focus on how the muscles engage and where the body holds tension. This is the same technique I bring to my studio sessions in Noida, ensuring you learn the 'sahi tarika' (correct method) so you don't just exercise, you actually heal.
For me, yoga is a daily conversation with my body. My personal practice is where I refine the sequences, breathing techniques, and posture corrections that I later teach in my classes. It is not enough to just know the asanas; you have to live them.
Why Practice Matters
When I first started, I struggled with weight and flexibility. It was only when I moved past the idea of 'exercise' and started focusing on a holistic system—combining Asana, Pranayama (breath control), relaxation, and a Saatvik diet—that I saw real, lasting changes. This is the exact philosophy I share with my students in Sector 104, Noida.
My Approach to Asanas
In this gallery, you will see me practicing various poses, from deep backbends to core-focused holds. Each one serves a purpose:
- Dhanurasana (Bow Pose): My go-to for improving posture and opening up the chest.
- Vinyasa Flows: These help me build the strength and endurance needed to burn calories effectively.
- Correct Alignment: You will notice I never rush a pose. Whether you are a beginner looking for weight loss yoga or someone dealing with chronic back pain, the principle remains the same: alignment over intensity.
