Daily Yoga Practice and Personal Fitness Coaching in Bangalore
My daily practice is where I find my balance and refine my techniques. I teach from experience, and these are the habits that help me stay consistent, whether in my home studio or while guiding clients.
Balancing life, sometimes with a little help from my beagle. Here I am practicing my balance on a yoga wheel. It's a reminder that practice is a journey, not a destination.
Day 1 of my personal 30-day challenge to complete 108 Surya Namaskars. Every journey begins with a single step, and I was excited to embark on this path of spiritual growth and self-love.
This video captures my practice on Day 6 of the 108 Surya Namaskar challenge. The early morning hours are a sacred time to connect with myself before the day begins.
Another session from my 30-day challenge, completing 108 Surya Namaskars before sunrise. This daily ritual is a powerful way to build discipline, energy, and a deep mind-body connection.
About My Personal Practice and Journey
When I challenge myself to complete 108 Surya Namaskars, it is not just for the physical workout. It is to build the mental discipline that makes my clients successful in their own health journeys. If you are struggling to build a lasting routine, my approach is to help you find that same rhythm in your daily life, regardless of your fitness starting point.
My personal practice is the foundation of everything I teach at the Swasthya Yoga Academy in Malleshpalya. Whether I am flowing through an early morning sequence before the sun rises or practicing balancing poses with my beagle Teddy, I am exploring how to move with ease and stability. This is the essence of 'Sthiram Sukham Asanam'—finding comfort and steadiness in every posture, which is exactly what we aim for in my classes.
Why consistency beats intensity
Many people focus on high-intensity workouts that leave them burnt out after a week. In my practice and my coaching, we do the opposite. We build sustainable habits. Whether you join my hybrid online sessions or train offline at the studio, we work on a mix of:
- Hatha & Vinyasa Flow: Focusing on controlled breathing and form rather than speed.
- Functional Strength: Using body weight, kettlebells, or simple home equipment to support your yoga practice.
- Mindful Nutrition: We focus on the '80% in the kitchen' rule, creating balanced plans based on home-cooked Indian meals.
My Approach to Your Goals
I don't believe in one-size-fits-all fitness. If you are dealing with medical concerns like PCOS, Thyroid issues, or chronic back pain, we use therapeutic yoga and specific rehabilitation movements to support you. My goal is to teach you how to listen to your body, modify poses when necessary, and practice safely. By the time we finish our session, I want you to feel more stable, flexible, and energized than when you started. If you are ready to stop looking for quick fixes and start building a lifestyle that supports your long-term health, let’s talk.
