My Guiding Philosophy: More Than Just Asanas
Yoga is a union of mind and body, not just exercise. Here is how I integrate asanas, breathwork, and lifestyle changes to help you find balance, strength, and real results.
Many people ask why they don't see results from daily yoga. The answer is often in the technique. I explain why learning yoga with correct alignment from a teacher is crucial to target the right muscles and achieve real, lasting changes in your body.
Yoga and meditation are two sides of the same coin. I explain the five essential points of yoga: proper exercise (asanas), proper breathing (pranayama), proper relaxation (shavasana), proper diet (Saatvik), and positive thinking with meditation.
A natural glow is a beautiful side effect of a consistent yoga practice. I explain how yoga improves skin by helping release toxins, increasing oxygen flow to your organs, and improving blood circulation. When you are healthy inside, it shows on the outside.
My focus is always on sahi technique, or correct technique. Here I am guiding a student into the initial phase of an inversion, ensuring her foundation is strong and her body is aligned before she lifts up.
This is a crucial step in learning inversions like the headstand. I provide physical support and verbal cues to help my student engage her core and find her balance, building her confidence with each practice.
With careful guidance, my student achieves the full expression of Sirsasana, or headstand. This hands-on approach is central to my teaching, as it ensures safety and helps you understand the feeling of a correctly aligned pose.
About My Guiding Philosophy: More Than Just Asanas
People often tell me they practice daily but see no changes. That is usually because they are doing the poses rather than practicing yoga. I focus on alignment and muscle engagement during every session, whether it is a 60-minute studio class or a private 1-on-1, so you do not just move your body, you actually reshape it.
Yoga is not a shortcut. It is a process. When I teach at my Sector 104 studio in Noida, my goal is not just to make you sweat. It is to teach you the 'sahi tareeka' (correct technique). If your alignment is off, you are just stretching your muscles without targeting the core.
My approach is built on five pillars:
- Asanas: Moving the body with intent.
- Pranayama: Controlling the breath to manage stress.
- Shavasana: True relaxation.
- Saatvik Diet: Eating clean, vegetarian food to support recovery.
- Meditation: Building the mindset for consistency.
Whether you are joining a small group batch or taking private 1-on-1 sessions, I provide physical adjustments and verbal cues to ensure you are safe. Many of my students come to me with chronic back pain or plateaued weight loss. By correcting their posture and integrating a Saatvik diet, we see results—not overnight, but sustainably.
Yoga is union, a way to connect mind, body, and soul. It is about being okay with where you are today and having the patience to work toward where you want to be tomorrow. If you are ready to stop guessing and start practicing, let us connect.
