Designing Hospitality and Community Spaces
We create functional, inviting hubs that blend professional technical requirements with a distinct sense of calm and connection.
The entrance to Kana Cafe in Bangalore, a project conceived as an urban retreat. The design was inspired by breaking down barriers between the interior and exterior, allowing the serene, natural setting to become an integral part of the cafe experience.
The outdoor seating area at Kana Cafe, inspired by the breezy, nature-integrated cafes of Bali. The space features a glass canopy, minimal furniture, and a small arched opening that acts as a pickup point for delivery services, blending aesthetics with practicality.
The sun-kissed outdoor seating at Kana Cafe is covered by a glass canopy, with minimal furniture in olive green metal and grey rope. The lime-plastered white walls and concrete flooring enhance the raw, earthy, and natural feel of the space.

The bright and airy staff canteen at Campus Biovet is dotted with lush green courtyards. This design provides a refreshing relief for employees during a hectic workday, bringing natural light and greenery into the large building.
The VIP dining lounge at Campus Biovet features a raw and natural material palette. An exposed brick feature wall, Kota stone floors, an exposed cement ceiling, and a custom cement dining table create a unique, light-filled space adjoining a lush courtyard.

About this collection
Whether it is an urban cafe or a corporate campus, we balance the technical layers—such as acoustics, HVAC, and service integration—with human-centric design. You will see this in how we integrate courtyards into cafeterias for refreshing relief or align auditorium seating with specific branding, ensuring the space works as well as it looks.
Our approach to hospitality and community spaces is grounded in the belief that architecture should foster interaction and well-being. We do not apply a single template to every project; instead, we respond to the specific context of the location.
Designing for Experience
For projects like Kana Cafe in Bengaluru, we focused on breaking down the barriers between the interior and the exterior. By using lime-plastered walls, glass canopies, and minimal metal furniture, we created an urban retreat that feels light, breezy, and connected to nature. The challenge was to maintain this aesthetic while ensuring the space was durable enough for high footfall.
Functional Community Hubs
In corporate settings, such as Campus Biovet, our focus shifted to creating a sense of relief within a large-scale institutional environment. We integrated green courtyards directly into the staff canteen and VIP dining areas to provide a visual and psychological break during a workday. Our work here included:
- Material Selection: Utilizing exposed brick, Kota stone, and cement finishes to create a raw, post-industrial aesthetic that is both timeless and easy to maintain.
- Technical Coordination: Managing complex layers like AV systems, HVAC, and fire safety compliance in auditoriums without compromising the design narrative or the visual cohesion of the space.
- Strategic Planning: Designing floor plans that prioritize flow and circulation, ensuring that large groups can move through the space comfortably.
We believe that a well-designed canteen, cafe, or auditorium should feel like a relief—a place where people actually want to spend their time.
