About this collection
We approach every residential project by analyzing site context before drafting floor plans. By studying sun paths and wind direction, we ensure the space remains comfortable throughout the year. This technical foundation allows us to translate your personal requirements into a functional building that performs well.
When designing a private residence, the initial phase is dedicated to site assessment. Whether it is a corner plot in Mangalore or an apartment in Bengaluru, the surroundings guide our architectural response. For the Veerabhavana Villa, the corner location required a facade that offered visual interest from multiple angles, which led to the integration of Mediterranean-inspired arches and classical columns. This creates a sense of permanence and grandeur that is grounded in the local landscape.
Renovations require a different set of technical considerations. In our Rooted Japandi project, the primary goal was to enhance functionality within a limited footprint. We modified the kitchen layout and repurposed existing structural columns into storage, which maximized usable area without compromising the design intent. This process involves precise GFC (Good-for-Construction) drawings that cover everything from electrical and plumbing points to inlay patterns for flooring.
Our design narrative blends heritage and modern functionality. We favor materials like granite, Kota stone, and exposed brick for their durability and tactile quality. By working closely with clients to define their needs, we develop functional layouts that emphasize indoor-outdoor connections. The goal is to provide a complete architectural service, including 3D visualization for massing, technical facade details, and periodic site supervision to ensure the finished home matches the original vision.
