About Renovation & Adaptive Reuse
We pour our heart into every project, big or small. Renovation and adaptive reuse for us isn't just about making things look new - it's about keeping the character alive while making spaces work for today. I love that feeling you get after a long day on site, when the old bones of a place finally start to feel like home again.
Old Meets New, Always
We never erase what's already there. Instead, we're all about integrating old and new design so the past and present fit together naturally. Whether it's a 40-year-old house or a sprawling campus, I want the updates to feel like they've always belonged.
Homes That Truly Work
- Full makeovers for period properties and modern homes
- Opening up layouts for more light, space, and easy flow
- Turning odd corners or awkward columns into clever storage or features
- Custom furniture and tailored design themes (Spanish, Japandi, whatever feels right for you)
- Example: For an old Bangalore house, we opened up the kitchen, brought the balcony inside, and turned tricky structural bits into beautiful storage
Commercial & Campus Upgrades
- Master plans that respect nature (we work around existing trees, not against them)
- Context-driven ideas - like using exposed brick in regions with brick heritage
- Large-scale adaptive reuse architecture: old factories into new offices, properties into urban cafes and upcycled commercial spaces
Every Project, Its Own Story
No copy-paste jobs. I take the time to understand what the space needs, who will use it, and how it can feel both welcoming and practical. If you're after a space that respects its roots while being truly liveable, that's what I do.

My Story
We kicked off Studio Skapa Architects in 2019, after I soaked in a lot from London and some wild projects in Sri Lanka and India. Architecture for us? It’s never just walls and roofs. Like, designing Jindal Public School in Dabaspet—free education, real impact—made us believe good design can change lives. And that family home for Sri Veerendra Hegde ji in Mangalore? Still gives us goosebumps. That feeling, sitting at a finished site, just happy. That’s what keeps us going.
My Work
What we do - Architecture, Interior Design, Urban Design for homes, F&B, retail, and offices.
Blending Old & New - We love mixing earthy industrial home design with a bit of Bali inspired interiors, especially in Bengaluru.
How we work - Every project is personal. We listen, look at the site, work with what’s there—trees, light, you name it.
Attention to Craft - Big on Indian craftsmanship in interiors and picking materials that feel right for the place.
