The reception area for Anthea Pharma, where custom-designed concrete panels and elegant floating bird lights create a striking first impression. The dark wenge-stained teakwood desk provides a sophisticated contrast, establishing a professional and modern corporate identity.
A complete transformation of a 40-year-old apartment into a Rooted Japandi Home. By removing walls and introducing natural materials, I created an open, bright, and warm space that seamlessly connects the kitchen, dining, and living areas.
An unused penthouse balcony transformed into a luxurious Spanish-inspired outdoor lounge. With a new glass canopy, patterned tiles, and comfortable seating, this space is now a perfect urban retreat for relaxing and entertaining.
A vibrant and playful children's bedroom designed for learning and fun. The room features a custom world-map wallpaper, a bunk bed with a safety net and swing, and an integrated study area, creating a personal playground for a child to thrive in.
The entrance to Kana Cafe, a community space I designed to be an urban retreat inspired by the breezy, nature-integrated cafes of Bali. The design focuses on creating a tranquil atmosphere with a clean, minimal aesthetic and lush greenery.
The extravagant lobby of Meghana Foods' corporate office, featuring a backlit onyx wall as the centerpiece. This space was designed to be opulent yet inviting, using plush furnishings and rich wood tones to welcome visitors.
A detail of the washroom at Anthea Pharma, showcasing my focus on material craftsmanship. The walls and floor are clad in rugged Kadappa stone, paired with a bespoke concrete basin and matte French gold fittings for a raw yet luxurious feel.
A view into a grand family home I designed in Mangalore, showcasing a double-height space with a traditional chandelier and stained-glass window. This project was a humbling opportunity to blend classic architectural elements with modern living.

About Interior Design

Why Interior Design Matters to Me

A thoughtfully designed space can do wonders - it’s not just décor, it’s a feeling. I see my work as a way to create homes and workplaces that calm the mind and spark inspiration. Every project feels personal, and finishing each one leaves me grateful and proud.

My Design Approach

I love mixing Indian artisan décor with fresh, modern touches. My goal? Spaces that balance what looks good and what actually works for your life. I focus on bringing out your story, whether through a vintage piece or a new idea you’ve always wanted to try.

What I Design

  • Full home makeovers, including small space transformation for older flats or new builds
  • Kid-friendly rooms (bunk beds, swings, and all), pooja corners, cozy offices, kitchens that work for your daily life
  • Offices and community spots that feel welcoming, not just functional
  • Urban cafes and guesthouses designed for comfort and style

My Signature Styles

  • Earthy, industrial chic with exposed brick, concrete, and colourful touches
  • Rooted Japandi style interiors - simple, decluttered, warm, and natural
  • Luxurious, opulent spaces using marble, onyx, and polished wood

How I Work

Collaboration is key - I’ll listen to your story and use it to guide design choices. No cookie-cutter stuff, just personalised home design. Sometimes things get messy or take longer than planned, but in the end, it’s worth it to see a space that truly fits you.

My Story

We kicked off Studio Skapa Architects in 2019, after I soaked in a lot from London and some wild projects in Sri Lanka and India. Architecture for us? It’s never just walls and roofs. Like, designing Jindal Public School in Dabaspet—free education, real impact—made us believe good design can change lives. And that family home for Sri Veerendra Hegde ji in Mangalore? Still gives us goosebumps. That feeling, sitting at a finished site, just happy. That’s what keeps us going.

My Work

What we do - Architecture, Interior Design, Urban Design for homes, F&B, retail, and offices.

Blending Old & New - We love mixing earthy industrial home design with a bit of Bali inspired interiors, especially in Bengaluru.

How we work - Every project is personal. We listen, look at the site, work with what’s there—trees, light, you name it.

Attention to Craft - Big on Indian craftsmanship in interiors and picking materials that feel right for the place.
