About Architecture Design
My work is all about finding that sweet spot where traditional Indian craftsmanship meets the energy of today's design scene. I'm drawn to spaces that feel honest, simple, and actually get used, not just looked at.
How I Think About Design
- Everything starts with context. I don’t force a style on a project - whether it's a school out in the sticks or a corporate office in Malur, the place itself guides the vibe.
- Love showing off real materials. Exposed brick architecture, cement, and natural stones like Kota or granite - if it’s got character, I’m interested. Spaces should feel solid and not too dressed up.
- I try to blend old-school regional details with a bit of post-industrial edge. So you get something that nods to the past but doesn’t feel stuck there.
What I Work On
- Big stuff: commercial offices, schools, full campus planning. I like when a building feels like it belongs and really serves its people.
- Homes: If you want a bespoke home architecture project that’s got arches, big windows, or just feels like you, I’m in. Happy to rework old spaces too.
Some Projects
- Campus Biovet, Malur: Took almost 3 years, but worth it. 100-foot gateway, open courtyards, double-walled brick for that Indian post-industrial style.
- Veerabhavana Villa, Mangalore: Corner house, Mediterranean arches, both sides look good - no compromise.
I usually team up with other design folks for big projects. Based in Bengaluru but travel all over Karnataka and Hyderabad. Every project teaches me something new.

My Story
We kicked off Studio Skapa Architects in 2019, after I soaked in a lot from London and some wild projects in Sri Lanka and India. Architecture for us? It’s never just walls and roofs. Like, designing Jindal Public School in Dabaspet—free education, real impact—made us believe good design can change lives. And that family home for Sri Veerendra Hegde ji in Mangalore? Still gives us goosebumps. That feeling, sitting at a finished site, just happy. That’s what keeps us going.
My Work
What we do - Architecture, Interior Design, Urban Design for homes, F&B, retail, and offices.
Blending Old & New - We love mixing earthy industrial home design with a bit of Bali inspired interiors, especially in Bengaluru.
How we work - Every project is personal. We listen, look at the site, work with what’s there—trees, light, you name it.
Attention to Craft - Big on Indian craftsmanship in interiors and picking materials that feel right for the place.
