We design homes that dissolve the boundary between built space and nature. By using large cantilevered roofs, central courtyards, and deep verandahs, we create a living environment where the outdoors acts as an extension of your interior.

Cascading cantilevered concrete roofs define the form of the House of Canopies. These strong horizontal planes create layered, sheltered spaces below, from open terraces to shaded verandahs, extending the living areas into the landscape.

Morning light streams across the verandah, casting long shadows and highlighting the texture of the polished floor and wooden frames. We carefully orient our buildings to capture the beauty of light at different times of day.

A spacious, covered terrace at the House of Canopies, furnished for relaxation. Clerestory windows above bring in additional light, while the open sides maintain a constant connection to the lush green surroundings and fresh air.

Dappled light falls on the outdoor seating area, creating a peaceful atmosphere for enjoying the garden. The interplay of light and shadow is a key element we use to bring our architectural spaces to life.

About Residential Design: Blurring Indoors & Outdoors

In our House of Canopies project, we utilized cascading cantilevered concrete roofs to create layered, shaded transitional zones. These are not merely architectural statements; they serve as functional, open-air living spaces where the distinction between your interior and the garden effectively disappears, allowing for natural cross-ventilation and a constant visual connection to the surrounding landscape.

In the Sandeep & Neelam residence, the dining area is designed alongside a sunlit indoor courtyard with synthetic grass. A floating marble pooja room appears to hover over this green space, creating a tranquil spiritual corner.
The indoor swimming pool at the Neeti Residence serves as a tranquil focal point for the guest level. The space is designed with clean lines, a textured stone feature wall, and direct access from the living area.

In the Kanasu residence, large sliding glass doors completely retract, merging the living room with the outdoor deck and vertical garden. This creates a single, expansive space for relaxation and entertainment.14
This rooftop terrace features a slatted wood pergola that not only provides shade but also creates beautiful, linear shadow patterns on the floor. It’s an open-air lounge designed for enjoying the city views.

This design, named "Synthesis," perfectly illustrates our philosophy of blurring boundaries. The living room's floor-to-ceiling glass walls slide open to connect directly with the lawn and an outdoor water feature.11

This expansive rooftop terrace is designed for entertaining. It features a built-in bar with ambient lighting, extensive lounge seating, and open views, creating the ultimate outdoor social space.
The dining and kitchen area in our Hollywood Town project opens directly onto the garden. The open-plan layout and large windows ensure that daily activities are always connected to the natural surroundings.

The Siri residence was designed as a seamless extension of its natural landscape. The structure respects and celebrates the existing trees, with the garden and home flowing into one another.38
We designed the deck around this beautiful existing mango tree, creating a natural 'katte' or seating area by the pool. It’s a perfect example of building with nature, not against it.
This sun-soaked island deck by the pool is the perfect spot for a cup of coffee. The design uses a simple pergola to define the space without closing it off from the beautiful garden views.

The entrance to our Nandi Hills weekend home sets a warm, welcoming tone with exposed brick, a solid wood double door, and flowering plants. This design choice immediately connects the home to its rustic, natural setting.13
A living space designed to maximize natural light, featuring a large glass skylight and floor-to-ceiling windows. The neutral color palette and minimalist furniture ensure the focus remains on the connection to the outdoors.
