Commercial & Mixed-Use Architectural Design

We approach commercial architecture not as a collection of floor plates, but as active urban infrastructure. Our mixed-use developments blend retail, work, and public space into coherent, minimalist volumes that aim to improve the city fabric.

In the heart of Hyderabad, we designed this mixed use building to prove that glamour doesn’t always mean excess. The entrance is framed by a delicate screen of vertical fins, creating a sophisticated and inviting threshold.

The drop off area for the Hyderabad mixed use building. The design uses a restrained palette and clean lines, but the layering of screens and textures creates a sense of depth and refinement.

The full facade of the Hyderabad mixed use building. The main volume is wrapped in a fine golden mesh, with a rooftop terrace and greenery. It is a contemporary, minimalist structure that still feels bold and confident.

For this ultra luxury residential project in Chennai, the facade is a minimal, clean volume wrapped in a delicate layer of bronze anodized aluminum tubes. This detail shot shows the elegance and precision of the screen.

The ground floor of the Chennai project is open and connected to the landscape. The dark, minimalist entrance lobby contrasts with the lush green lawn, creating a serene and luxurious arrival experience.

We are excited about this mixed use entertainment center we designed in Kathmandu, Nepal. Thoughtfully planned entertainment centers can boost a region's economy by attracting tourism, generating employment, and stimulating local business.

About this collection

In our mixed-use projects, we avoid ornamentation in favor of environmental performance and structural honesty. The bronze anodized aluminum screens used in our Hyderabad developments, for instance, are not merely aesthetic. They function as climate filters that reduce solar gain while maintaining visual transparency. We design these buildings to act as quiet, efficient anchors within busy urban centers.

Our philosophy for commercial and mixed-use developments is rooted in the idea that buildings must be active urban infrastructure. We do not design static shells. Whether we are planning an entertainment center in Kathmandu or a mixed-use hub in Hyderabad, our process begins with understanding the street-level experience. We focus on integrating disparate functions, such as retail, workspaces, and hospitality, into coherent volumes that enhance the public realm.

In our approach to facade engineering, we prioritize climate-responsive skins. The perforated meshes we often employ are calculated to provide privacy and thermal comfort without sealing the building off from the city. We believe that true sophistication in commercial architecture comes from resolving complex zoning and circulation requirements with simple, robust forms. By layering these functional elements, we create spaces that feel both private and accessible, proving that minimalist design can handle the high-traffic demands of urban life while retaining a sense of quiet authority. Our goal is to create developments that feel like an organic part of the city, not an imposition upon it.
