This is Aranya Villas, which translates to "forest villas." We designed this community in Hyderabad to be a seamless story, where the architecture is minimal and the landscape becomes the immersive, central experience. The tree-lined street creates a natural canopy, offering a calm, luxurious setting rooted in nature.
For the Telangana High Court, we aimed for a design that is monumental yet unassuming. This view across the water shows how the structure commands respect through its clean lines and scale, while the surrounding landscape and water body soften its presence, making it a dignified and approachable civic landmark.
We believe corporate campuses should be vibrant public realms. At this tech campus, we used elevated curving podiums and integrated water features to create distinct zones for tenants and the public, promoting collaboration, relaxation, and a harmonious connection with the surrounding nature.
We call this concept "villas in the sky." We are redefining high-rise apartment living by giving every unit its own front yard, side yard, and backyard. This approach brings the feeling of a private home and garden to a vertical community, integrating nature at every level.
An aerial view of the Red Ribbon Plaza, a sculptural seating installation we designed for a tech campus. This playful, undulating steel plate transforms from a bench to a table, creating a dynamic "people space" that is both functional public furniture and a striking piece of urban art.
This small weekend retreat was designed to be a private, quiet, and reclusive space. The minimalist, neutral architecture intentionally steps back, allowing the lush surrounding landscape with its dense bamboo and flowering shrubs to become the main focus and create a sense of total immersion in nature.
Located on a vibrant Hyderabad street, this mixed-use building demonstrates that glamour can be minimalist. The structure uses clean lines, a restrained color palette, and a delicate metal mesh facade to create a bold, sophisticated presence that feels both contemporary and timeless.

About Landscape & Urban Design

What Drives Us

I see landscape and urban design as a single, flowing story. For me, the space outside the building matters just as much as the building itself. I’m drawn to designs that feel calm and timeless, not flashy or trendy.

Our Approach

  • Nature leads the way. I often keep architecture minimal so the landscape can shine - think immersive landscape architecture that feels like a forest, not just a garden.
  • Every space has a clear purpose. Benches, screens, plazas - they’re meant for real people, real use, and real connection.
  • Local roots matter. I explore local crafts and culture, then blend those elements into the design so spaces feel genuine and connected to their place.

Where We Work

  • Corporate/Tech Campuses: I design for well-being and innovation - you’ll find water bodies, green walkways, public art, and spots to collaborate or just chill.
  • Homes & Communities: My goal is to bring nature into daily life, whether that's a villa tucked into greenery or a high-rise with actual backyards above ground. Aranya, Villas in the Sky - these are my ways of making everyday spaces feel special.
  • Public Spaces: I think about privacy, airflow, comfort, and how people meet. Telangana High Court’s landscape is one example.

Urban Spaces That Connect

Places I design aren’t just pretty - they’re where people meet, eat, relax, and work. Public art, streams, food vendors, undulating seating - it’s all about making vibrant, democratic public spaces that really pull people in.

Details Matter

Even the smaller things, like façade screens or integrated art, are part of the bigger story. Sometimes the artwork becomes the landmark - like a 35-foot sculpture or a graphic that defines a whole space.

My Story

We’re Studio Chintala, a bunch of folks from all over India, always mixing ideas and cultures. Our work? It’s like one big story—architecture, interiors, even signage, all tied together. We love a good debate, a lot of chai, and every Ramzaan, our Iftar party gets the whole team together—feels like family. We’re big on keeping things real, honest, and grounded. Spaces should feel like they belong, simple as that.

My Work

All-in-one design studio - We handle architecture, interiors, landscape, graphics, signage, wayfinding, and product design.

Simple, honest design - We make boxes—timeless, robust, no-nonsense. Our spaces focus on honest architecture solutions and just make sense.

Process that digs deep - We brainstorm, argue, research. Every decision is logic-driven, not just following trends.

Minimalist, meaningful spaces - We craft minimalist workspace design, sustainable co-living spaces, and homes that soak in natural light.

Diverse projects, big and small - From tech campuses to Tirumala Temple streets, we design for all—nothing too fancy, always real.
