Food That Doubles as the Entertainment
We set up live counters where our chefs cook in front of your guests. People pick their sauces and toppings and talk to the chef.
Counters We Run
- Pasta station: penne, fusilli or macroni, with white, red or pink sauce. Corn, capsicum, mushroom, olives, basil, zucchini and brocolli.
- Live chaat: pani puri, masala puri, sev puri, bhel puri, dahi puri, papadi chat, samosa chat, aloo tikki, dahi bhalla, kachori chat, pav bhaji, chole bature.
- BBQ and tandoor: paneer tikka in achari, reshmi, sauf or ajwani styles, tandoori pineapple, BBQ watermelon, plus chicken tikkas and kebabs, mutton sheekh, fish tikka and tandoori prawns.
- Pizza station: 4 inch veg mini pizzas with veggies, paneer, cheese and tomato.
- Dosa counter: plain, masala and onion dosa.
- Momo station: steamed dumplings with veg, cheese or paneer, with spicy chutney.
- Fries station: basic salt through to peri peri.
- Nachos station: nachos with a range of dips and sauces.
How It Works
Counters start from ₹4,500 each. That is a starting figure, not a fixed price. Each counter is quoted on your specifics, so tell us which counter you want, how many guests are coming and how many varieties you would like, and we will give you a proper number. Pricing is per counter, not per plate. Minimum 50 guests.
We bring all the cooking equipment, ingredients, uniformed chefs and serveware. Staff wear gloves and head caps.
We keep veg and non-veg separate at service, with separate vessels and separate counters. Our kitchen also cooks egg and non-veg.
You arrange the tables, we do not supply furniture or event decor. We send the power requirement in writing before the event, usually a 15 amp point. Our Interactive Dessert Counter is available on request.

My Story
Hey, we’re Nazia and Akshay, the duo behind Smart Chef Catering. Food’s our love language, honestly. Give us your wildest party idea, and we’ll run with it—especially if it’s a kid’s theme like Avengers or Frozen (those grazing tables, pure magic). We once made a nervous birthday girl super happy, and that’s what keeps us going. If you want food that people remember, we’re all in. Our clients’ smiles? That’s the real deal for us.
My Work
Catering Across Bengaluru - We cater birthdays, house parties, launches and corporate events with snack boxes, hi-tea, buffets and grazing tables.
Live Food Counters - Our counters start from ₹4,500 each. The dessert counter, including waffles, is available on request.
Themed Party Food - Printed food labels and toppers feature in our themed spreads. We do not supply backdrops, character cutouts or balloons.
Custom Menus and Pricing - Buffets are billed per plate served, equally for children and adults. Grazing tables start from ₹25,000 per setup for all occasions.
Cooking and Scope - Non-counter food comes hot from Dasarahalli. You arrange tables and chairs. Crockery, staff and transport cost extra. No event decor, cake or bar service.
Founder and Experience - Nazia Iqbal founded Smart Chef Catering in 2017. Her 10 years of personal experience includes earlier hotel-industry work.
