Rishikesh Yoga Teacher Training: A 300-Hour Residential Journey
Escape the city rush and reconnect with your inner self. Join me for an immersive 300-hour residential teacher training on the banks of the sacred Ganga, where ancient wisdom meets disciplined practice.
The yatra begins. We leave the city behind and travel to the serene foothills of the Himalayas for an unforgettable yoga teacher training retreat in Rishikesh.
Our practice extends beyond the mat. We trek through the Himalayan landscape, chanting mantras and connecting with nature, which is the greatest teacher of all.
Day 3 of our Rishikesh YTTC. We explore pranayama by the river, visit sacred sites like the Vashistha Gufa, and find joy and connection through community games.
A look into Day 2 of our immersive training. We balance intense asana sessions in the hall with peaceful meditation and savasana by the flowing waters of the Ganga.
Guided pranayama on the banks of the Ganga. I teach my students the correct techniques of breathwork, synchronizing our life force with the rhythm of nature.
In the lap of nature, we find clarity and peace. This is the essence of my Rishikesh yoga course, a chance to serve humanity by first connecting with the divine in the world around us.
About Rishikesh YTTC: A Journey by the Ganga
This is a 300-hour residential program designed for those who want to move beyond the surface level of yoga. It is not a holiday, so expect simple ashram-style lodging and a rigorous, disciplined daily schedule that includes early morning sadhana by the Ganga. You will be learning the complete 300-hour curriculum, but the true value lies in the immersion, where we focus on physical endurance, breathing techniques, and the traditional philosophy of teaching.
My approach to Yoga Teacher Training (YTTC) is not about shortcuts or quick certifications. It is a true yatra, or journey, that will challenge your limits and help you discover your inner self.
The 300-Hour Curriculum
We cover a comprehensive 300-hour contact curriculum that prepares you for RYT-300 registration. We emphasize three primary styles: Power Yoga for strength, Hatha for tradition, and Ashtanga Vinyasa for flow. You will not just practice; you will learn how to teach. This includes:
- Alignment & Adjustment: Hands-on training so you can guide your future students safely.
- Theory & Philosophy: Deep dives into the Patanjali Sutras and medical anatomy to understand why we practice the way we do.
- Pranayama & Meditation: Specialized sessions, including Manipura Dhyan, to build willpower and control.
The Ashram Experience
Part of this journey takes us to Rishikesh. We live simply, with satvik vegetarian meals and quiet surroundings, to help you disconnect from the noise of Delhi and Gurugram. We include your return transfer from Delhi to Rishikesh, so you can focus entirely on your practice. Whether it is trekking to ancient caves or meditating by the flowing Ganga, this time is for you to build a foundation that lasts long after the training ends.
Why Join Us
When you join our academy, you become part of a kula, or family. We are here to support your growth, whether you are in our New Rajinder Nagar studio or the forests of Rishikesh. You will receive a full student kit, including the course manual and study materials, and join a community that values authenticity over polish. If you are ready for a real change, this is the step you need.
