A traditional month-long journey to deepen your practice, understand the Gurukula system, and become a certified yoga teacher.

The Advanced Teachers’ Training Course is more than a certification. It is a chance to live in an ashram, reconnect with your practice, and rediscover your true potential away from daily distractions.

Our faculty is our greatest asset. Arun Pandala, a Yoga Acharya with 30 years of experience, is one of the senior most Sivananda teachers in India, known for making ancient science relatable and transformative.

Dyutima Goel, a teacher with over 14 years of experience, brings expertise in teaching everyone from children to advanced practitioners. She is a dynamic and strongly grounded student of the Sivananda system.

The initiation ceremony, or Diksha, is a sacred part of our Teacher Training Course. It marks the student's entry into the Guru Parampara, the lineage of teacher-student tradition.

In our Advanced TTC, we practice the principle of "Help thy neighbor as thyself." Here, a teacher provides a gentle adjustment to a student in Balasana, the child's pose, ensuring deep relaxation.

Partner work is an integral part of our advanced training. It helps students understand alignment and deepen their stretches, as seen here in this assisted Dhanurasana, or bow pose.

Students in the TTC learn to assist each other in various asanas. This practice of partner yoga builds trust, communication, and a deeper understanding of the postures.

Two students work together to achieve a deeper backbend in the bow pose. This collaborative approach is a hallmark of our community focused teacher training programs.

The joy of practice is evident as students support each other in partner asanas. This builds a strong sense of sangha, or community, during the intensive training course.

About Deepen Your Practice, Become a Teacher

Becoming a teacher here is not about collecting a certificate; it is about immersing yourself in the Gurukula system. You will live the practice, from the early morning Satsang and disciplined asana sessions to the community service and Sanskrit chanting, which gives you the authority to pass on these teachings with integrity.
