Yoga is more than just a sequence of poses. It is the path that led me from a 12-year struggle with addiction to a life of freedom. This is my story of healing, discipline, and finding balance.

An amazing journey of 12 years. When I left drugs, I had nothing. Today, I have no fear of losing anything. I chose life, I chose freedom. I am grateful to my higher power and everyone who has been a part of this journey.

My practice extends beyond the mat. Whether it's the focus required for a football kick or the balance for Bakasana, the principles of yoga apply everywhere in life.

Hindu push-ups are a traditional and powerful exercise for building strength. I often incorporate practices like this, which connect to the roots of Indian physical culture, into my own training.

What seems impossible today will become your warm-up tomorrow. Just keep practicing. Here I am doing push-ups at Marine Drive, embracing the rain and the energy of Mumbai.

About My Journey: Yoga Beyond the Mat

When I teach, I focus on the same principles that rebuilt my life. We do not rush. Whether we are in the studio in Ghatkopar or working on inversions, I prioritize alignment, breathing, and the science behind every movement. My classes are designed for those who want to build genuine strength and stability rather than just perform, because true growth happens when you face your fears on the mat.

From Struggle to Strength

Twelve years ago, I started from zero. I was lost, struggling with addiction, and searching for a way out. Yoga became my anchor. It was not about fitting into a category or looking a certain way. It was about facing the reality of my body and mind, day after day, without excuses. Today, my practice is my freedom. This is why I teach the way I do. I do not offer shortcuts because there are none.

The Practice

My classes at Ghatkopar East and Powai are built on a foundation of discipline. We integrate Ashtanga Vinyasa to build heat and focus, and Iyengar techniques to ensure precision and safety. You will find wall ropes, blocks, and straps in my studio, not as props for convenience, but as tools to understand your alignment and go deeper safely.

Why You Should Join

  • Personal Attention: I keep group sizes small, between 10 to 15 students. This allows me to give individual, hands-on adjustments so you learn the correct technique immediately.
  • Real Results: Whether you are dealing with chronic back pain, stiff shoulders, or just want to build stamina, we work on the 'how' and the 'why.' You will learn about anatomy, breathwork, and the philosophy that supports the physical effort.
  • A Supportive Community: As the Sanskrit shloka says, 'Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam'—the world is one family. My students are not just clients; we are a community that grows together.

If you are looking for a place where you can be honest about your challenges and work hard to overcome them, this is where you belong. Bas practice karte raho.

I teach because this practice saved my life. I do not believe in perfection, I believe in showing up every single day to do the work. If you are ready to be honest with yourself, you will find your place in my class.
