Core Practice
- Schedule: Access to 1-hour daily guided sessions with options for morning (starts 5:50 AM) or evening slots.
- Methodology: Traditional Hatha focus on holding asanas for endurance and alignment rather than fast flows.
- Correction: Manual hands-on adjustments by the instructor to fix posture and improve depth.
- Breathwork: Specific segments for Pranayama and meditation included in every session.
Facility & Equipment
- Studio Environment: Naturally ventilated hall with ceiling fans, large windows, and polished granite flooring (No AC).
- Props Access: Usage of studio foam blocks, cotton straps, and wall ropes for supported drills.
- Community: Access to studio events like Yoga Day performances and progress recognition.
Monthly Live Online Membership
Virtual Setup
- Platform: Real-time 1-hour sessions conducted via Google Meet.
- Two-Way Video: Mandatory video-on policy allowing the instructor to spot-check alignment and provide verbal cues.
- Demonstration: Live visual guidance of poses by the instructor before you practice.
Home Practice Support
- Curriculum: Standard Hatha sequence adapted for home constraints, including flexibility and strength drills.
- Prop Adaptation: Guidance on using household items (chairs, walls, sofas) to substitute for studio props.
- Post-Class Support: Dedicated time after the video call for questions regarding pain or specific modifications.
About Hatha Yoga Classes
I see yoga as something everyone can try, no matter your flexibility or experience. For me, it’s all about just turning up on the mat and letting the process do its thing. My Hatha Yoga classes come straight from what I learnt during my training in Mysore - all rooted in the real, traditional style.
What Happens in My Classes
- Expect a mix of asanas, starting simple then working up to things like Chakrasana or Headstand if and when you’re ready.
- We go deep into alignment - I’ll watch you closely, give hands-on yoga adjustments, and help you use props if needed. This way, you’re safe and you learn how things actually feel in your body.
- Pranayama and breath control techniques are a big part. Breath is everything here - it’s not just about moving but about calming your mind and working through stress.
- Building strength and flexibility is woven in, but it’s not a race. Progress will come, promise.
The Space & Vibe
Our studio is open, airy, and kinda chill - not fancy, but you’ll feel welcome. People from all walks join in, beginners and regulars. If you’re a bit lost, there’s always someone to ask.
Real Talk
If you’re new, you can take two trial classes and see if this feels right for you. I believe in Abhyaasa (regular practice). Stick with it, and you’ll see real changes, not just in your body, but in your headspace too.

Hey, we’re Shree Yoga Academy. Started by Madhushree, who’s always off on some adventure or spiritual trip – from Mahakumbh dips to paragliding. For us, yoga isn’t just a class, it’s the way we live – mixing travel, family, and a bit of divine connection. We built this space to help folks find their own joy, strength, and peace. We’re all about sharing good vibes and growing together, one breath at a time.
