About Meditation & Spiritual Practice

Many students come to me thinking meditation is about forcing the mind to be quiet, but it is actually about observing your thoughts without judgment. In our Konanakunte studio, we use specific Abhyaasa (consistent practice) to move from physical asanas into a state of mental clarity, giving you a practical toolkit to manage stress in your daily life.

True meditation goes beyond sitting still; it is an active practice of coming back to yourself. In my sessions, we focus on the transition from physical movement to stillness. We start with breathwork—pranayama—to calm the nervous system before moving into seated meditation. This approach helps even those who feel restless or 'too busy' to find a moment of peace.

My practice is rooted in SVYASA certification, ensuring that the techniques we use are scientifically grounded and safe for everyone, whether you are a complete beginner or looking to deepen your existing practice. We work on building consistency rather than aiming for perfection. The studio in Konanakunte provides a quiet, well-lit space where you can disconnect from the noise of the city and reconnect with your inner universe.
