- Exterior Skin: Custom design using modern materials (glazing, louvers, concrete) for visual identity.
- MEP Integration: Initial routing concepts for ducts and shafts to ensure clean interior heights.
Institutional & Public Campus Design
Campus Master Planning
- Inter-block Connectivity: Strategy for seamless movement between different buildings and annexes.
- Public Realms: Design of courtyards, tiered seating, and gathering spots to encourage interaction.
- Phasing Strategy: Construction planning to allow the institution to function partially during build-out.
Functional Programming
- Specialized Spaces: Acoustic and sightline planning for auditoriums, sports courts, and classrooms.
- Traffic Flow: Design of wide corridors and foyers to handle heavy footfall without bottlenecks.
Materiality & Systems

About Urban Design & Master Planning
How We See Urban Design
Urban planning isn't just about drawing up blueprints. For us, it’s about understanding the pulse of a place and letting it grow into something meaningful. We try to make sure every master plan stands out, has real attitude, and leaves its mark on its surroundings. We keep things fresh, practical, and tuned to the future.
What We Do Best
Most of our work happens in Bangalore’s dense cityscape. Here’s how we approach things:
- Mixed-use development strategies let us bring together homes, offices, and hangout spots. It’s not just about what goes where - we want people to enjoy living, working, and relaxing without feeling boxed in.
- High-density residential solutions are a big part of our game. Tall buildings, from 9 to 29 storeys, get amenities like rooftop pools and business centers. We fuss over facades and outdoor spaces so folks living up high don’t miss out on greenery or views.
- Community-centered housing master plans mean we work on entire neighbourhoods, not just standalone homes. We focus on simple, modern designs with lots of glass and good links to nature.
Research and Collaboration
We don’t just design - we get involved with the city. Working with BBMP and local bodies, we help improve public spaces. Sometimes we go deep into academic work, studying temporary city setups at pilgrimage spots or reimagining old mines and coastlines. This keeps us sharp and always learning.
Our Way of Working
We believe the best ideas come from working together, not from a single mind. By listening, experimenting, and getting to know the people and places we’re designing for, we aim for master plans that actually fit and feel right.

My Story
We’ve been at this for 16 years, and still, designing our own studio was the toughest gig. You step out of your comfort zone, answer questions you didn’t know existed. Our place? It’s open, almost bias-free, just a big space for ideas to bounce around. We’re always poking at new things – spiritual tourism, fixing what’s broken in our environment, even community stuff like our ‘Ellara Nelle’ (a home for all) show. Architecture’s never still, and neither are we.
My Work
What We Do - We work across architecture, urbanism, and academia. Projects range from homes, towers, offices, memorials, schools.
Finding the Seed - Each project’s got its own hidden spark. We dig for it, grow it, make it real for that place and purpose.
Narrative-Driven Design - We build spaces around stories – family life, journeys, struggles. The narrative shapes everything.
Substance Over Flash - Bold design isn’t just looks. It’s logic, attitude, meaning. Like freeing up a floor for Bay of Bengal views.
Open Studio Collaboration - Our studio’s open, team-focused. Designers, engineers, partners – everyone’s in on the process.
