At SDeG, we believe that bold design is not about superficial aesthetics, but about logic, attitude, and substance. Our portfolio, showcased here, reflects a 16-year journey across architecture, urbanism, and academia. We do not work in isolation. Our studio is an open workspace where designers, engineers, and landscape partners engage from the initial concept phase. This ensures that technical details, such as structural grids or facade engineering, are woven into the narrative of the building rather than added as an afterthought.

Urbanism and High-Density Living

In Bangalore’s dense cityscape, we navigate constraints like floor area ratios and light-plane rules, but we refuse to just stack floors. We focus on creating vertical neighborhoods, integrating shared amenity decks, and ensuring that residents in high-rise towers maintain a connection to light and greenery. Our approach turns verticality into an asset, not a restriction.

Institutional and Social Impact

Architecture must serve the community. Projects like the Koramangala Club annexe or the school in Mandya demonstrate how we use design as a tool for interaction. By creating thresholds, such as tiered seating that merges a building with its public surroundings, we blur the lines between private and public realms. We view architecture as an active participant in the city, helping to fix environmental gaps and fostering social connection through thoughtful spatial planning.
