Fly High: Aerial & Rope Yoga Sessions
Aerial hammocks and wall ropes make advanced yoga accessible to everyone. Build serious core strength, fix your posture, and learn to defy gravity with me at my Vile Parle studio.
This is the kind of yoga that makes your arms feel like steel. Rope yoga is not just about hanging; it's an intense workout that builds grip strength, core stability, and incredible upper body power.
Before you think about lifting weights, learn to lift your own body weight. Rope and aerial yoga are the ultimate forms of bodyweight training that make you truly strong from within.
The hammock is the best place to relax, but also to build serious strength. Here, students work on advanced backbends and inversions, using the hammock for support to go deeper into the pose.
Inversions teach us that fear is just a thought, not a limit. Our aerial yoga class is a space where students learn to flip their perspective and trust their strength.
Curious about the benefits of inversions? This video breaks down the top 10 advantages, from improving circulation and core strength to reducing stress and energizing the body and mind.
Strength comes from overcoming what you once thought you couldn't do. Our students use wall ropes to support their inversions, building the confidence and power to hold the pose independently.
The joy on their faces says it all. Our little yogis showing off their amazing splits using the wall ropes. This is how we build flexibility and make fitness fun.
The body benefits from movement, and the mind benefits from stillness. In our aerial yoga classes, students find a unique cocoon of peace inside the hammock, perfect for meditation.
Turn your world upside down to find your true balance. This student demonstrates a deep backbend using the wall rope for support, which helps improve spine flexibility and core strength.
Inversions are not just for your body; they are for your mind. They improve hair growth by increasing blood circulation to the scalp and build incredible confidence.
About Fly High: Aerial & Rope Yoga
At my Vile Parle studio, we don't just stick to the mat. We use Iyengar-style wall ropes to safely decompress your spine and aerial hammocks to master inversions you never thought possible. This is functional bodyweight training that builds grip and core strength without needing heavy gym weights.
Why Add Ropes and Hammocks?
If you think yoga is just about stretching on the floor, you haven't tried this.
1. Spinal Traction with Wall Ropes We use wall-mounted ropes to create space between your vertebrae. It’s a game-changer for anyone dealing with back pain or stiffness. By using gravity, we let your body hang and release the pressure built up from long hours of sitting or desk work.
2. Aerial Yoga for Core & Inversions Ever wanted to hold a headstand but felt scared? The hammock supports your weight, making inversions safe and fun. You get the blood flow benefits of a handstand without the fear of falling. It’s excellent for building upper body strength and deep core engagement.
3. Build Strength Naturally Forget heavy lifting for a moment. Learning to pull and push your own body weight is the real strength test. Whether you are aiming for better posture or wanting to level up your fitness, these props force your muscles to stabilize in new ways.
My classes are not a silent library session. We work hard, we sweat, and we definitely have some masti along the way. Whether you join my group batches in Vile Parle or take a personal session to focus on specific pain points, my goal is simple: to make you strong enough that you never need to rely on anyone else for your health.
