Yoga for kids is not about boring stretches on a mat. At my Vile Parle studio, we mix discipline with masti, using games and props to build strong, happy, and focused children.

The best gift you can give your child is the habit of yoga. I help them build discipline, health, and inner peace right from a young age, setting them up for a balanced life.

Every child can become a superkid with just four daily yogic habits. This video breaks down the simple routine of balancing poses, strength asanas, pranayama, and chanting that builds focus, strength, and calmness.

Many parents ask me how yoga can help their kids grow taller. In this video, I demonstrate two simple and effective asanas, including Tadasana, that children can practice daily to naturally aid their growth.

"Sir, our exams are coming and we can't remember anything." This is a common problem. I teach students specific yoga postures like Sarvangasana and Sirsasana to improve memory, focus, and concentration.

Our 5-year-old yogi, Ziyaansh, explains the five essential yoga postures every kid should learn. From Tadasana for height to Vrikshasana for a strong mind, he shows how simple and fun yoga can be.

Meet our youngest teacher, 8-year-old Dwinsha, guiding our youngest student, 4-year-old Viona. This is what our community is all about: learning, growing, and supporting each other, no matter the age.

Why is yoga essential for kids? It's not just about bending. It's about building concentration, channeling their energy positively, and developing a strong body and a calm mind that will serve them for life.

A strong back from childhood means a healthy life ahead. This posture is excellent for strengthening a child's lower back and spine, preventing future issues with pain and posture.

Good posture is the foundation of a confident personality. Here, I am assisting a young student to correct her alignment, ensuring she builds the habit of sitting and standing tall.

To move forward in life, sometimes you need to bend backward. I guide my students through advanced backbends, helping them build not just physical flexibility but also mental resilience.

About Little Yogis: Fun, Focus & Fitness

My sessions for kids are built around games like 'Team Langdi' and prop-based activities such as aerial hammocks and wall ropes. This makes fitness fun, ensures their attention is locked in, and helps them build strength and flexibility without even realizing they are working out.

Why Kids Yoga is Different Here

Most people think kids find yoga boring. That is because they have not tried my classes. We replace the dull routine with activity-based learning. When a child is hanging on a hammock or playing a focus-based game, they are not just having fun. They are unconsciously building grip strength, core stability, and spatial awareness.

The Method

My approach for 'Little Yogis' focuses on three pillars:

  • Physical Foundation: We use Iyengar-style wall ropes and props to teach correct alignment early. This is vital for posture correction, especially for kids carrying heavy school bags, and helps naturally support height growth.
  • Brain & Focus: Simple acts like 'Thumb Gazing' or concentration games are mixed into the session. These techniques are designed to channel their excess energy, improve memory, and help them stay calm before exams.
  • Discipline through Masti: We don't preach; we play. Whether it is 'Pillow Squats' or partner balances, the environment is competitive yet supportive. They learn that discipline leads to rewards, not just punishment.

Where We Train

I run these sessions at my dedicated studio in Vile Parle West, Mumbai. The space is fully equipped with safety mats, bolsters, and aerial gear to ensure every stretch is safe. For those who cannot make it to the studio, I also conduct live online batches that keep the same high energy and engagement levels.

Whether your child is 4 or 14, my goal is the same: to give them the habit of wellness before they become adults. It is the best gift you can give them for a healthy, pain-free future.
