Boxing isn't about raw power. It is about precision, timing, and speed. Here is how I break down the mechanics of the sport to help you build real, lasting skill in the ring.

This is my philosophy. Boxing isn't about raw power, it's about accuracy, speed, and reflexes. In our sessions, I break down the technique, the 'why' behind every punch and every move, so you build real, lasting skill.

A moment of instruction. I often pause drills to explain the mechanics and strategy, ensuring my students understand not just what to do, but why they are doing it.

Here I am supervising a three-person drill. This teaches boxers to be aware of multiple angles and to maintain their defensive posture at all times.

Even a coach has to stay sharp. Here I am working on the speed bag, a classic tool for improving hand-eye coordination and rhythm.

More work on the speed bag. The constant rhythm and focus required for this drill is a form of meditation for a boxer.

About The Coach's Philosophy

In my sessions, we do not just hit heavy bags and walk away. I personally watch your footwork, your guard, and how you react to counters during pad work. If you are struggling with a specific combination or getting sloppy with your defense, we stop, we fix the mechanics, and we drill it until it becomes muscle memory. You will walk away from every session understanding exactly what you did right and what you need to tighten up for the next round.
