Handcrafted Ceramic Masterpieces from Our Studio
Every piece here started as a simple lump of clay. From hand-painted plates to sculpted wall art, see what our community creates in our sunlit Bandra studio.
I absolutely love this pair of dessert plates made by a mother-daughter team. The playful colors and botanical designs are so full of personality.
These beautiful ceramic wall art pieces were made during a special occasion workshop. Each one tells a personal story, from a favorite car to a meaningful number.
A lovely lineup of hand-built teacups, fresh from a workshop and ready to be glazed. Each one has its own quirky character.
About Your Finished Masterpieces
There is always a bit of magic in the wait. Once you finish your piece at the studio, we take over the technical work. Every item goes through two rounds of kiln firing and careful glazing to ensure it is waterproof and food-safe. It takes about four to five weeks for your creation to be fully finished, bubble-wrapped, and ready for you to take home.
When you visit us in Pali Hill, the creation process is just the beginning. Whether you spend your session at the potter's wheel or focus on hand-building techniques like coiling and pinching, we treat every creation as a potential masterpiece.
After you leave, your piece enters our kiln schedule. We manage the drying, trimming, and glaze application to ensure high-quality results. We fire items at high temperatures to reach up to 1220 degrees Celsius. This double-firing process, covering both bisque and glaze stages, is what makes your pottery functional, durable, and microwave-safe.
Whether you create a series of dessert plates, a set of quirky teacups, or custom ceramic wall art for your home, the end product is built to last. Our studio handles the heavy lifting so you do not need to worry about the technical side of ceramics. You focus on the tactile joy of the clay, and we ensure the finished result is something you are proud to display on your dining table or wall.
If you have questions about specific glazes or structural integrity for your project, let us chat. We encourage you to be bold with your designs, knowing our team is there to refine the details post-session.
The Pottery Lab
I am Rekha Goyal. For the last 26 years, I have found that working with clay is the best way to quiet a busy mind. My studio in Bandra is a space where you can get messy, laugh, and walk away with a piece you made entirely with your own two hands.
