I open my studio doors to other artists so we can learn, make, and create together beyond the potter's wheel.

We had a fantastic time hosting a four session book-making course. It's always inspiring to fill the studio with different kinds of art and creativity.

About More Creative Workshops

Most people know me for clay, but my studio is truly a home for any craft that demands patience and focus. Whether we are folding paper for a book-making course or exploring miniature painting, the goal is always the same: slowing down, using your hands, and finishing a tangible project you can take home.

Creativity should not be confined to one medium. My Bandra studio is designed as a sanctuary, far from the chaos of Mumbai, providing the perfect backdrop to unplug and try something new.

I often collaborate with fellow artists to host sessions that go beyond the potter's wheel. These workshops are based on the same philosophy I apply to clay: discipline, process, and the quiet satisfaction of making something with your own hands.

What to expect at our sessions:

  • No Experience Needed: Whether it is bookbinding, cyanotype, or painting, I ensure the pace is relaxed and beginner-friendly.
  • Private Group Bookings: Want to celebrate a birthday or host a team outing? Bring your friends or colleagues. We provide all the materials and guidance to ensure everyone leaves with a completed piece.
  • The Vibe: We are located in Pali Hill. The space is filled with natural light, plants, and usually a bit of quiet music. It is a place to breathe, not rush.

If you have a specific craft in mind or a group looking for a creative afternoon, send me a message. Let’s see what we can make together.

The Pottery Lab

Studio at Pali Hill, Bandra West, MumbaiStarts from 2,100 Per Person (Min. 4 Pax)

Hi, I'm Rekha. While I’ve spent 26 years playing with clay, I am a firm believer in the magic of all slow crafts. My Bandra studio is my little escape from Mumbai, and I love opening it up for collaborative workshops where we can step away from screens and get our hands working again.
