Finding a team activity that everyone actually enjoys is tough, which is why we keep our workshops low-pressure and beginner-friendly. You do not need any artistic background to join; I guide everyone through the fundamentals of hand-building or wheel throwing so that even the most nervous person in the office walks away with a piece they made themselves.

Why pottery works for teams

Unlike traditional outings where people might just sit and chat, working with clay gives your hands something to do. This focus naturally lowers barriers and gets people laughing. Whether you are pinching, coiling, or trying to center clay on the wheel, you are solving a new kind of problem together. It is a shared challenge that creates a lot of genuine, unforced conversation.

The process

My studio in Pali Hill is a green, sunlit escape from the Mumbai chaos. We host private sessions starting from 4 people, making it perfect for smaller team outings or department meetups. Sessions typically last 1.5 to 2 hours.

After the workshop, your work is not finished. I take over the technical heavy lifting: drying, trimming, and applying your choice of glaze. Each piece goes through two rounds of high-temperature firing in our kiln to ensure they are waterproof and food-safe. This entire post-production process takes about 4 to 5 weeks, after which your team’s masterpieces are ready for collection and use back at the office or home.
