Kids and Family Yoga Classes in Bangalore
A space where children learn to stretch, breathe, and play, and families find time to truly connect. Join us in Bangalore for mindful movement, creative games, and quiet moments that help everyone evolve from within.
Watch the joy and focus in our kids yoga summer camp. Here, we explore fun poses, partner activities, and moments of quiet, helping children build strength and friendship.
This is what family connection looks like. In my parent and child partner yoga sessions, we breathe, move, and laugh together, creating a beautiful bond that extends beyond the yoga mat.
Is screen time a concern? I offer a joyful alternative with my Yoga and Art workshops, blending mindful movement with creative expression to help your child find balance and fun away from devices.
My kids yoga classes often take place outdoors, connecting children with nature as they practice. I guide them through foundational poses and stretches, improving their balance and flexibility through play.
I am Aarthi, and my journey as a single mom and yoga practitioner has taught me the power of resilience. I bring my lived experience into every class, creating a space for authentic healing and growth.
Join our weekend children's yoga classes for ages 7 to 12. We use a mix of yoga, games, and music to make learning about mindfulness and movement an exciting experience for every child.
I introduce children to mindfulness with simple, playful techniques like Bubble Breaths. This exercise teaches them to control their breath and find a moment of calm by imagining they are blowing bubbles.
About Featured
My classes are not about sitting still; they are built around Krida Yoga, where we disguise difficult asanas as animal movements and games. We keep groups small, around 6 to 10 children, to ensure each child gets the attention they need while learning to manage big emotions through simple, practical breathing techniques like Bubble Breaths.
How We Make Yoga Work for Kids
Children need to move, not conform to rigid structures. In my studio near 560037, we replace lecture-style teaching with play.
- Krida Yoga: This is the core of my teaching. We use animal poses and physical games to build strength and coordination. If a child thinks they are a lion or a butterfly, they are more likely to hold a pose and focus without feeling the pressure to perform.
- Art Integration: Every session includes 10 to 15 minutes of mindful art therapy, like coloring or painting. This helps children express emotions that they might not have the vocabulary to explain.
- Breathwork as a Tool: I teach 'Balloon' and 'Bunny' breaths, which are specific techniques for anxiety management. These give children a physical tool to calm down when they feel overwhelmed, whether at home or school.
Partner Sessions for Families
Connection is often lost in our busy routines. Our parent-child workshops (ages 7-12) are designed to bridge that gap. We do not focus on flexibility; we focus on trust. Through partner poses where you hold each other's weight and synchronized breathing exercises, you learn to listen to your child without words. These 75-minute sessions are judgment-free zones where you can just be present.
Logistics and Getting Started
I offer sessions twice weekly for various age groups, focusing on developmental goals like motor skills and focus. Whether you are looking for after-school activities or a weekend family bonding session, my studio in Bangalore provides a safe, non-competitive environment for your child to grow.
