Kids Yoga, Mindfulness, and Fun Activities
I bring yoga, mindfulness, and pure joy to children's lives. From school workshops to our specialized studio sessions, see how we build strength and focus for kids in Shalimar Bagh.
Teamwork and trust are at the heart of yoga. Here, my students are creating a beautiful partner yoga pose, learning to support each other while building strength and balance. It’s a joy to see them grow together.
This is a glimpse of our Tratak meditation session, where children focus on a candle flame to improve concentration and bring calmness to their minds. It's a powerful, ancient technique that greatly helps with their studies and focus.
Safety is my first priority, especially with advanced poses. I am carefully guiding this young student into a supported headstand against the wall, helping him build upper body strength and confidence step by step.
What a wonderful day celebrating International Yoga Day with the children from the Gyan Adhar NGO. Seeing so many happy faces filled with energy and peace reminds me why I do what I do. Har Har Mahadev.
It’s not just about asanas, it’s about finding joy in movement. Our dance sessions are full of energy and laughter, giving kids a space to express themselves freely and just be happy.
Welcome to the fun of aerial yoga. Here, children are exploring poses in the safety of a silk hammock. This unique practice helps improve flexibility and core strength in a playful, exciting way.
We use props like this large yoga ball to make learning challenging poses like Chakrasana (Wheel Pose) safer and more accessible. It provides support for the back, allowing kids to build flexibility without fear.
I was honored to lead a yoga session for 118 students at MCPS AB Shalimar Bagh. It’s a blessing to introduce so many young minds to the benefits of yoga for managing stress and improving focus in school.
About Featured
My classes are never boring because I believe kids learn best when they are having fun. Whether we are using yoga balls for balance or learning partner poses, the focus is always on safe, physical growth and helping your child build confidence from the inside out.
I know how tough it is for kids these days with screens, homework, and constant pressure. That is why my approach at Aura Yog Centre is 'play-first.' We do not just do asanas. We teach kids to understand their bodies through animal poses, partner games, and even aerial yoga for those who want a challenge.
Why my approach works:
- Physical Foundation: We focus on posture correction and height growth, using props like blocks and yoga wheels to make sure every pose is safe, even for advanced movements like backbends.
- Mental Clarity: We include Tratak Kriya, which is candle gazing. It is an ancient technique that I find works wonders for improving eyesight and concentration, especially for students juggling heavy school loads.
- Community & Joy: Yoga is better with friends. I encourage team-building through partner yoga and group activities. Seeing them support each other in a pose or laugh during a dance break reminds me of the true meaning of 'Sarve Bhavantu Sukhinah'.
I have taken these sessions to schools like MCPS AB Shalimar Bagh and local NGOs because I want wellness to be accessible to all children. Whether you are looking for regular evening classes, a high-energy summer camp, or weekend aerial sessions, I am here to guide your child in a safe, AC studio environment. Let's make your child swasth, mast, and khush. Har Har Mahadev.
