Family Yoga Classes in Bengaluru for Parent-Child Bonding
Turn screen time into together time. Our partner yoga sessions focus on laughter, connection, and mindful movement for parents and children in the heart of Bengaluru.
Understanding and navigating a child's big emotions is a key part of mindful parenting. I share simple, sympathetic strategies to help you guide your child back to a state of calm.
My postnatal yoga sessions are designed to help new mothers heal and regain strength. We incorporate gentle, baby-friendly movements to create a beautiful bonding experience for both you and your little one.
About Connect Through Family Yoga
Unlike typical yoga classes where you focus inward, our family sessions are about looking outward at each other. We use partner poses where you support each other's weight and synchronized breathing exercises to help de-escalate conflicts at home. It is 75 minutes of uninterrupted, play-based interaction where the goal is not a perfect pose, but a stronger, more honest connection between you and your child.
Why Family Yoga Matters
Modern parenting often involves managing big emotions—both ours and our children’s. My sessions at Padma Yoga Academy in Challaghatta are designed to be a bridge between those busy, high-stress moments. When we practice together, we aren't just moving bodies; we are practicing patience and non-verbal communication.
What You Will Experience
These sessions are designed for 6 to 10 families, ensuring a quiet, intimate environment where everyone feels safe. We focus on:
- Partner Asanas: You and your child learn to support each other's weight in guided poses. It builds physical trust and spatial awareness.
- Connection Drills: We incorporate trust falls, mirror exercises, and synchronized breathing that teach us how to listen better, even without words.
- Shared Relaxation: Every session ends with Yoga Nidra, where we learn to settle into stillness together. It is often the favorite part for parents, who finally get a chance to slow down.
Practical Details
Whether you are a complete beginner or a long-time practitioner, no specific experience is required. I provide all the tools you need—just bring comfortable clothes and an open mind. We host these workshops periodically throughout the year across Bengaluru, with regular small-group sessions at the Challaghatta studio.
If you are looking to manage stress, improve your child's focus, or simply find a way to laugh and bond without screens, come as you are. We are here to help you navigate this chapter of parenthood with more calm and a little more joy.
