Inside a Namma Workout: Our Training Structure
We keep it simple: science-backed training and consistent effort. See how we structure our sessions to push you further every single day.
A glimpse into our Workout of the Day (WOD). The video shows the coach explaining the workout on the board, followed by demonstrations of the exercises: V-ups, kettlebell swings, and double-unders. This is how we make you sweat.
About this collection
Every hour on our floor follows a strict structure designed to deliver results. We start with a dedicated skill block—focusing on things like handstands, kipping mechanics, or pull-up progressions—before we move into the Workout of the Day. You will not find mindless machines here, only functional movements that build real-world strength, whether you are just starting out or a seasoned athlete.
At Namma, we have been in the game for over 18 years, and we know that real progress comes from discipline, not gimmicks. Our 60-minute sessions are built on the principle of progressive overload.
The Session Breakdown
We divide our time to ensure you get the most out of every minute.
- Warm-up: We prime your joints and get the blood flowing.
- Skill Work: This is where we break down complex movements. If you want to nail your first muscle-up or hold a freestanding handstand, this is the time we put in the technical practice.
- WOD (Workout of the Day): This is the engine room. It is a mix of high-intensity metabolic conditioning and strength work. We cycle through thrusters, burpees, double-unders, and kettlebell swings to build your engine.
Scaling for Everyone
One of the most common questions we get is: 'Can I keep up?' The answer is yes. We call it 'Every Body is an Athlete.' Every movement we program has a regression. If you cannot do a strict pull-up, we use bands. If you cannot do a handstand, we start with wall walks. Our coaches watch your form like a hawk to ensure you are safe while you sweat.
We train in an industrial-style space with high-velocity fans and raw equipment—no central AC, just hard work. Come in, find your batch, and be ready to sweat. It might feel like a grind on the hard days, but that is how we build the Namma strength.
Namma Training
We are Namma, which means 'our' in Kannada, and that is exactly how we treat our gym floor. We are not just about lifting weights; we are a squad that trains together, sweats together, and celebrates every single rep. You show up, put in the work, and we make sure you reach your goals.
