About this collection
In our studio sessions in Malleshwaram, you get hands-on physical adjustments to refine your alignment and deepen your stretches. If you choose our online classes, we provide real-time verbal cues and guide you on how to use everyday household items like pillows or books as effective yoga props. Both formats focus on a Hatha Vinyasa blend, ensuring you get a balanced session regardless of where you are.
How We Practice
We don't believe in the 'perfect yogi' aesthetic. Whether you are on your mat in our Malleshwaram rooftop studio or logging in from your living room, the goal is the same: building functional strength, managing stress, and finding a consistent, mindful routine.
In-Studio Classes (Malleshwaram)
Our studio is a semi-open, naturally ventilated rooftop space. It is not an AC-cooled gym. You will feel the breeze and hear the neighborhood, which is part of the experience. We keep batch sizes small so I can offer tactile, hands-on adjustments. This helps correct your posture safely, especially if you are working on specific goals like back pain or hip mobility. You have full access to our professional props, including cork blocks, straps, and bolsters.
Online Classes
If you prefer to skip the commute, our online sessions are conducted via Google Meet. These are not pre-recorded videos; I am live, watching your form, and providing real-time verbal corrections. We use a sequence that accounts for limited home space and teaches you how to improvise with household items. It is just as interactive and focused as being in the room.
What to Expect
Every class, whether online or offline, follows a structure:
- Breathwork (Pranayama): We start by slowing down the nervous system.
- Hatha Vinyasa Flow: We alternate between holding poses to build strength and fluid movement to improve mobility.
- Cool Down: We end with deep rest, which is often the part people need most.
Come as you are, whether you can touch your toes or not. We are just humans on mats.
Gowri
I'm Gowri, and Mudra is my rooftop space. I started this journey because I needed an escape from my own anxiety, not because I was born flexible. Whether you're coming to the roof in Malleshwaram or logging in from your living room, my goal is to help you find a bit of calm, at your own pace.
