Welcome to my rooftop sanctuary in Malleshwaram. I blend Hatha and Vinyasa to help you build strength, find calm, and move through the messy, real days with a bit more ease.
Welcome to my class. Here, I focus on providing hands-on adjustments to ensure your alignment is safe and effective. This video shows me helping a student deepen their posture, which is a core part of the personalized attention you'll receive in my small group sessions.
Hi, I'm Gowri. I wanted to share a bit about my journey. Yoga found me when I was struggling with anxiety, and it changed my life. Now, I teach a blend of Hatha and Vinyasa to help you find your own strength and peace, no matter your starting point.
This is what it feels like to join my online yoga classes. You get the flexibility to practice from home, receive individual attention and corrections, and get access to recordings so you never miss a session. It's all about making yoga work for your busy life.
Had a long day at the office? This short video demonstrates four simple asanas like Setubandhasana (Bridge Pose) and Marjariasana (Cat-Cow) that you can do to relieve stress after work. My classes often include these restorative poses to help you unwind.
Community is at the heart of my practice. This photo captures the shared energy and smiles from one of our group sessions. You'll never feel alone on your yoga journey here; we support and grow with each other.
Ever wonder what a full 60 minute class with me looks like? I break down my Hatha Vinyasa class structure, from the initial warm up and breathwork to the main sequences and final Shavasana. This gives you a clear idea of what to expect in each session.
Take a quick tour of the Mudra Yoga Studio. I've put so much love into creating a calm, green, and inspiring space for our practice. This video shows the studio's transformation into the peaceful sanctuary it is today.
About this collection
My group sessions are capped at 12 students to ensure I can offer actual, tactile adjustments. We practice on a semi-open rooftop, which means we work with natural ventilation and the real sounds of the neighborhood, keeping the practice grounded in the world rather than a sterile studio environment.
How My Classes Work
I structure each 60 to 75-minute session to guide you from your busy day into a state of focus. We start with breathwork (pranayama) and gentle warm-ups to settle the mind. The core of the class blends Hatha for stability and alignment with Vinyasa for flow and stamina. I pay close attention to form, using physical adjustments for in-studio students and clear verbal cues for those joining online.
Where We Practice
- In-Studio (Malleshwaram): My rooftop studio is a non-AC, light-filled space. It is designed to be a sanctuary, not a gym. You will get personal attention in small batches of 8 to 12 people.
- Online (Google Meet): If you cannot travel or prefer home practice, I offer the same teaching style online. I keep these interactive with real-time corrections. If you miss a session, I provide recordings so you stay consistent.
Who This Is For
My classes are ideal for beginners, desk workers, or anyone struggling with stress who wants a non-intimidating space to move. You do not need to be flexible or 'fit' to start. I focus on building a consistent routine, not achieving perfect poses. Whether you are dealing with a stiff back from long office hours or just need an hour to disconnect, you will fit right in.
Gowri
I’m Gowri. I started this space because I know what it’s like to battle anxiety and think you need to be perfect to step onto a mat. At Mudra, we don't do ego—we just do the work, together.
