Welcome to our group yoga class. Here, students are guided through Vasisthasana, or Side Plank Pose, to build core strength and improve balance. We foster a supportive environment where everyone can find their own level of challenge and progress.
Our lead instructor, Prathima Arikeri, demonstrates an advanced posture that combines flexibility, strength, and focus. Her deep knowledge of yoga therapy and alignment ensures you practice safely and effectively, no matter your starting point.
We believe in the healing power of sound. Many of our sessions incorporate the deep, resonant tones of a Tibetan singing bowl to aid in meditation and guide you into a state of profound relaxation.

We keep our sessions personal with a focus on therapeutic alignment rather than just holding difficult poses. Classes take place every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday at 7:30 AM, providing a consistent, manageable routine to start your day with energy in a naturally ventilated rooftop space.
At Sportonix, we believe that 'Ye yog hai'—yoga is truly the path to freedom from ailments. Our approach here in Whitefield is less about achieving the perfect pose and more about building a sustainable, long-term practice that actually helps your body feel better.
Our Therapeutic Approach
Classes are led by Prathima Arikeri, who holds an M.Sc in Yoga Therapy. This means our sessions go beyond standard fitness routines. We integrate Hatha yoga to build a foundation and Vinyasa flow for those who want a more dynamic, breath-linked movement. We work on specific needs like back pain and joint health, ensuring you are supported regardless of your starting point.
What to Expect
- Physical Asanas: We work on strengthening, toning, and stretching, always with an eye on your individual alignment.
- Breathwork: Pranayama sessions are built in to help you settle your mind and manage stress.
- Deep Relaxation: We end every session with Yoga Nidra or guided meditation. We occasionally use Tibetan singing bowls for sound meditation, helping you disconnect from the busy Whitefield atmosphere.
The Space
Our studio is a rooftop hall designed to let in natural light and airflow. It is a non-AC environment, so dress comfortably. We provide standard PVC mats, but if you have a personal mat you prefer, feel free to bring it along. It is a simple, peaceful space that we keep quiet and focused, perfect for clearing your head before heading to work or home.
