About Architectural, Interior & Landscape Design
Why I Design Spaces
Architecture is my way of making art that you can live in. I don’t chase a fixed style - each project is like discovering something new, shaped by what’s around it and how people will actually use it. I treat every space as a living ecosystem, where inside and outside aren’t separate worlds.
What Guides My Work
- I believe in integrated indoor-outdoor living. Spaces should feel open, spark creativity and let people connect.
- I use sustainable building materials like exposed brick, concrete, steel, and wood, letting them show their true colors.
- For me, context-responsive architecture is key. Each site, climate and purpose calls for a different response - especially in our tropical setting, with plenty of shade and airflow.
- I want a sense of unity, where nature and structure, old and new, life and architecture all come together.
One Vision, Three Layers
I see architecture, interiors and landscape as one story. The building is the skeleton, interiors the soul, and the landscape is what lets it breathe. Every piece, from a curved roof to a green terrace, fits into a larger picture.
What I Create
- Private residences - homes, villas, farmhouses - even on tricky hilly sites where the house blends with the mountains.
- Schools, studios, artist homes - spaces made for learning and creativity, always grounded in their local setting.
My Process
This is a partnership. I work closely with clients, welcoming your ideas and trust. That’s what lets me create something real, together.

My Story
I started doodling before I could spell my name, honestly. Studied at CEPT in Ahmedabad, learned architecture’s not just about buildings—it’s about art, space, people. Delhi raised me, but Bangalore let me breathe and build my own rhythm. Set up my studio in 2000, then came 1 Shanthi Road—helped me see how creative spaces shape culture. MapBee happened in 2009, bringing folks together for small city changes. Mentoring students—watching them get it, that’s the real high. Full circle, as they say.
My Work
What We Do - We design homes, artist studios, community spaces, educational places for kids, and public art through MapBee.
Art Meets Architecture - For us, context-aware architecture and art are one thing—each project tells its own story, never just a style.
Design Process - No fixed style here. Every project is a fresh journey, shaped by close teamwork and trust with clients.
Materials We Love - We play with natural, raw stuff—exposed brick, steel, RCC—mixing light and heavy, up and down, grounded and skyward.
Spaces for Change - MapBee - MapBee is about temporary public spaces, workshops, and preserving history—sparking community and new ways to connect.
