About this collection
My classes are not for those looking to sweat mindlessly. We work in strict batches because the progression is scientific. If you join a medical or beginner batch, expect me or my team to physically adjust your alignment using ropes and trestles. You are not just following a video. You are here to learn how to fix your own body's mechanics, so come prepared to focus for the full session duration.
Why My Iyengar Classes Are Different
Most yoga classes focus on flow. Mine focus on architecture. Your body is a structure; if the foundation is crooked, the entire building is unsafe. In my sessions at Yogakshema, we use the Iyengar props—ropes, trestles, and weighted bricks—not as a crutch, but as a precise measurement tool.
Choosing Your Path
- Beginner Classes: We strip away the ego. You learn the basics of standing poses and spinal alignment. This is the foundation. If you cannot stand correctly, you cannot heal.
- Medical Classes: These are strictly clinical. I require your medical history, MRIs, and doctor reports beforehand. We address specific orthopedic issues like sciatica, slipped discs, and chronic pain. We do not mask pain; we release the nerve pressure that causes it.
The Hybrid Experience
Whether you join my Mandi House studio in Delhi or log in via Zoom, the standard of attention remains high. I do not believe in mass-market yoga. You get real-time feedback, constant monitoring, and adjustments that matter. If you are tired of generic fitness advice that ignores your unique injuries, start here.
