My Journey as a Yogi: From Practice to Purpose

Yoga is not just a workout; it is a life-long evolution. Here is a glimpse into my personal transformation, the philosophy behind my practice, and the path that led me to start HITYOGA.

My transformation from 2010 to 2022. This journey has been one of dedication, practice, and the profound power of yoga to shape both body and mind.

A collage of my personal practice in the snow-covered Himalayas. I am performing various asanas and mudras, embracing the stillness and power of the mountains.

For me, dance is also a form of meditation. Here I am, a solo dancer enjoying the rhythm, a reminder that life is beautiful and meant to be celebrated.

From a 3D scan to a physical figurine, this captures my dedication to the path of yoga. It represents the journey from an idea to a tangible reality, just like our practice.

Celebrating 5 years of HITYOGA. My nationality is universal, my religion is yoga, and my caste is yogi. This is the philosophy I live by.

A montage of my journey so far, from early days and hard work to receiving blessings from my Guruji and teaching in the Himalayas. It is all a manifestation of passion.

My workspace, where I plan classes and connect with students online. Even at my desk, I am a Karma Yogi, dedicated to serving through yoga.

About this collection

Looking at the 2010 version of myself next to where I stand today isn't just about physical changes or flexibility; it is the visible result of a decade of discipline and learning under masters like Dr. H R Nagendra Ji. My practice wasn't built overnight. It was forged through years of consistent Hatha practice, traditional breathwork, and integrating scientific yoga techniques into my daily life—a process I now teach to every student at HITYOGA.

The Path of a Karma Yogi

For me, yoga is not about finding the perfect pose on a mat. It is about how you show up in the world. My journey started long before the HITYOGA studio doors opened in Basaveshwar Nagar. It began with an intention to bridge the gap between ancient wisdom and modern fitness needs.

Why Practice Matters

Whether it is meditating in a cave in the Himalayas or teaching a high-intensity aerial session, the principle remains the same: from intention to action. I have spent years training to understand how the body responds to stress and how specific asanas, coupled with pranayama, can clear mental clutter.

My training isn't just theory. It is backed by S-VYASA University certifications and a commitment to keeping the lineage of traditional yoga alive, even while I embrace modern methods like Bungee Fitness or aerial silks.

More Than Just a Studio

When you look through the photos of my journey, you will see it all: the hard work, the moments of stillness, the community events like the 108 Surya Namaskaras, and the joy of teaching. I believe that being a 'Karma Yogi' means serving through your craft. Whether you are a beginner looking to correct your posture or a teacher wanting to get certified, I bring the same dedication to your growth that I applied to my own transformation.

My nationality is Universal, my religion is Yoga, and my caste is Yogi. If you are ready to stop just exercising and start transforming, you are in the right place. Jai Anjaneya.
