Movement is play. Whether it is balancing on a slackline or dancing with a hoop, these sessions are all about finding your rhythm and getting lost in the flow.

A shot from my second ever hula hoop performance. I was so happy to be part of this growing community and share the stage with so many talented hoopers.

Using my hula hoop as a prop for a goddess squat. It's a fun way to add a new dimension to familiar yoga poses and play with shapes.

My face at the end says it all. Flowing on the slackline with my flowmies around makes me so happy. It's a practice of balance, focus, and letting go of fear.

Squeezing in some doubles practice with my hula hoops while stretching. These track pants are perfect for moving freely, whether I'm doing yoga or hooping.

At this moment, where you are is where you need to be. A quiet moment of balance with my hoop, finding grace and stillness.

Feeling free and open with my hula hoop. This is a simple, joyful expression of movement that always brings a smile to my face.

Pink hoop, pink outfit, ready to flow. A simple standing leg lift with the hoop is a great way to work on balance and flexibility.

About this collection

Before picking up a hoop, I always emphasize warming up your shoulder joints. Many students think hooping is just hip movement, but your upper back and shoulders play a massive role. Spending five minutes on dynamic stretches not only prevents cramping, but also helps you achieve that fluid, graceful motion without straining your muscles.

Flow arts are more than just a workout, they are a meditative practice in movement. When we work with hula hoops or slacklines, we are training our brain to focus, our body to balance, and our spirit to let go.

Why Practice Flow Arts?

  • Balance & Focus: Walking a slackline requires total concentration. It is the perfect remedy for a wandering, stressed mind.
  • Playful Movement: Hooping is not just about keeping the circle in the air. It is about dancing, finding new shapes, and exploring how your body can move in space.
  • Joint Health: My approach combines these arts with gentle mobility work. We focus on shoulder and hip health to ensure you can sustain this practice long-term.

The 'Flowmies' Community

You do not need to be flexible, fit, or experienced to join. Whether you have never held a hoop or you have dabbled before, my classes focus on what feels steady and easy for you. We move in small groups in Ulsoor, where the vibe is supportive, non-judgmental, and focused on shared learning. It is all about coming home to yourself through movement, sharing a laugh when we drop a hoop, and cheering each other on as we master a new trick. If you are looking for a break from the grind and want to rediscover the joy of playing, let’s connect.
