About this collection
Most people think Animal Flow is just mimicking animals, but it is actually a sophisticated quadrupedal movement practice. You will learn specific forms like the Beast, Crab, and Ape, which I break down into accessible pieces during class. We focus on finding those clean lines and angles first, so you definitely do not need gymnast-level strength to start with us.
Why Animal Flow?
Animal Flow is all about reconnecting with your body. It is a ground-based, bodyweight discipline that helps you move more fluidly. By integrating forms from disciplines like parkour, gymnastics, and yoga, we create a practice that is both 'tagda' (strong) and sustainable. It is not about perfect poses, but about how you feel in the movement.
What to Expect in Class
Every session is designed to be accessible. We start with the basics—wrist mobility and quadrupedal loading—before moving into specific calls and transitions.
- Beginner Friendly: We keep the pace steady so everyone can learn the movements safely.
- Strength & Mobility: You will build real-world strength and joint health without lifting heavy weights.
- Community: I call my students 'flowmies.' Whether we are in the Ulsoor studio or moving in a park, we prioritize a supportive, no-judgment space.
Where We Train
I offer small group sessions at our studio in Ulsoor, Bangalore, limited to 10-12 people to ensure everyone has floor space and gets proper form correction. If you prefer to train on your own time or schedule, I also offer 1-on-1 personal training where we can focus on specific skill acquisition, like getting your first handstand or recovering from injury.
